Is this a Pastel Butter or just a Butter?
I ran across this and was thinking about getting her, except now I think shes just a butter and being advertised as a butter pastel. Im also not sure the owner knows the sex, but thats a whole different issue, Ill pop her to be sure before id ever buy. But opinions if its just a blain butter or has pastel in it.

Sorry for kinda crappy pics, thats all I was given.

Looks like a butter to me. If it had pastel it would have a lot of yellow.

yeah I probably wont get her. Im waiting on more pics from the seller, hopefully some better ones, but we will see. Id see her in person but its about an hour drive and I dont want to waste fuel just for what would then be an over priced butter (when im really searching for a pastel)... He is selling a male bumblebee and female normal, if he works an amazing deal for me then I wont care about the drive....

Definitely a plain butter. The head is the easiest way to tell, hers is completely dark while pastel butters have blushing between the eye stripes on the top of the head.

You are right there is no pastel here, one other thing to take in consideration is that if "she" is advertised as a pastel lesser, "she" may not be a "she" ;)

If your luck were anything like mine, all of those for sale would end up being male!

And that is exactly why I would not buy them without checking. I asked the seller for more pics, and info as to where the snakes came from and why he is selling, and he hasn't responded yet.... hmmm.

So this seller kept trying to tell me that its a female and hes sure its a female.. I asked him a few times if he could pop it for me and he said hes sure the paperwork said it is. Then he said if i get it today he will make it cheaper. So I went and looked at it... poor thing was starved like nothing but skin and bone, definitely a normal butter, the paperwork said pastel butter 0.1 though (i think he got scammed). He apparently traded a pinstripe male for it. Well I popped it... sure enough its a male(I wasn't surprised, and neither were they hah). He then asked me if I wanted to buy his adult female normal or his male bumblebee. The female normal was in shed and looked terrible some weird old injuries and the possible beginnings of scale rot or a burn. The snakes were all kept in terrariums high terrariums with other snakes, no hides, heat lamps, and branches. I felt so bad for them. I would have loved to take them but I couldn't. Its sad the animals had to live like that. It sucks I couldn't do anything about it. I was not going to pay the kind of money he wanted for them, and he wasn't the kind of person to give them up, obviously seeing as how he tried to scam me. Sad, just sad.....

The head is usually the give away to determine if its a butter or not. With the pic you posted, it looks like a plain butter to me.
