That's what I thought too. I have no idea on the pairing. Craigslist ad says lesser, but you never know with CL.

It's an extremely bright lesser if it is one, but I am leaning towards butter

Same morph, different lines. There are bright butters and bright lessers as well as darker butters and darker lessers.
I would have said lesser regardless though.

I could be wrong but don't butters and lessers do different things when combined with other morphs. For example all of the nuclear stuff. I am asking because I want to eventually make a nuclear pin.

As far as I know they react the same way since it is general consensus that they are the same morph but different lines.

I just wonder because when I mess around with the genetic wizard, a butter x pin x fire looks pretty different from a lesser x pin x fire.

Its because the parental morphs are different.
Say the breeder for one of those combos had a very light and blushed out fire parent. The offspring will look different from a darker non blushed fire parent. Or if the lesser gene in the parent was more yellow than a creamy butter gene in a different parent. Could have a reduced pin pattern vs a busy pin pattern.

The only reason the two morphs look different is because variation in their parents. They are the same morph imo. Look at a graziani pastel, which is known for their extreme blushing but average color, and a lemon pastel, known for their little blushing and bright colors. The offspring of both won't look the same even though both are pastels. Same thing with lesser/butter combos.

I wouldn't say it's bright for a lesser...

Just really depends on the lighting.

It's when it comes to these 2 morphs, it's whatever the breeder says it is. No real way to tell em apart.
