Craigslist is not a place to buy if you aren't familiar with morphs, sorry you got scammed

Fires have a distinctive heads spot on a reddish tinted head, lots of speckling especially down low on the sides and a clear belly.

Fires are actually creamy and not yellowish as they mature. I can see how someone inexperienced might think she was a fire, I can see that clearly. I wish I could explain to you the difference between them in a way you would understand. Once you have seen them both in person, it's really hard to mistake them. I have an extremely light female like her, and a lot of people think she's a morph but she's not. if you put her beside my fire female, the difference is night and day.

Sorry to hear you got scammed. Craiglist is very rarely a good spot to find good deals on bps.

I thought the cream color on her made her a morph thanks for the pics I am not to disapointed because she is so docile and has the coolest feeding response she comes down at the rat instead of from a eye to eye and she wasn't very expensive but a lot for a female normal $200 but her color is so different from my other girls i'm happy to have her and I will learn from this

Jason, it doesn't look much different from our four-year-old fire. Your girl has the typical greyish/cream pattern and light spot on her head. Ours has more dorsal blushing. I wouldn't trust Craigslist, but it'd be fun to prove her out anyway.

Even if she isn't a fire, she'll be invaluable in a breeding program. She can be bred to any male morph that looks good light: Vanilla, Pastel, Spider, Lesser, Pinstripe just to name a few I would consider.

Since it is a craigslist pickup are you sure she is in fact a she.
