You need to see if you can find someone in your area that knows are to sex snakes. Location would help ;)

Don't worry about it; males and females are basically identical externally (except that females usually get to be a bit larger as adults), and husbandry is the same for both sexes. I've had my ball python for almost 6 years, and only a few months ago I discovered that "she" might be a male. I'm still not sure either way, and I probably never will be. Many keepers acquire snakes from people who do not know the gender and keep the snake for its entire life without knowing. It seems weird, but hey, they don't care if we call them by the wrong pronoun.

If you really want to know, you can take the snake to a vet and have it probed. It is not a pleasant experience for the snake, and just not worth the money imo. Unless I suppose you're trying to breed the snake. Then you might want to know.

Probably sperm plugs, which males produced. And you probably don't have technique correct for popping.

Be very careful with the popping method as it can harm the snake!!! If you don't even understand what the little "red things" are and that males have 2 and females have 1 then I suggest you not even try this. Take it to someone who has a probe set to sex the snake!!!!

Have someone sex it for you. You can injure the snake if its done incorrectly....

Yeah I would take it and have it probed. I will need to learn to pop or probe snakes in the next year or so to sex hatchlings when I start breeding but I would not want to learn from a video would rather learn from someone experianced at it first hand. I in ow that inpropper probing or. Popping can harm the snake and I would not wish that on any of min or anyone else's. So I recommend taking it to someone who knows what they are doing

Does anyone know what the yellow stuff could have been? And I plan to talk him/her to a vet as soon as they open in the morning

    Re: help
If female no clue. If male could have been sperm plugs as stated earlyer.

    Re: help
If improperly probed or popes it can lead to reproductive problems along wit other things. I'm no expert but it is a good idea to take him/her to a vet or at least someone who's been in the hero world a while that's willing to take a look. But if you mom got them from a breeder most wont mess up on sexing them due to the value difference between male and female.

While that is true if it's a breeder with a lot of them it's possible it could have gotten mixes up some how!!
