    Review for online breeders... BHB
I have been looking at a few particular additions to my family and have come across BHB. They seem to have a fairly large following, but I have never bought without handling in person. I have one member on this forum that says he has gotten top notch stuff from them, but for the particular snake I'm looking at.... 0.1 Spinner @1100g she seems kinda cheap compared to other breeders. They are very willing to work a deal with a 1.0 Fire that I also want.

I am wondering if I should pull the trigger, or plug on this particular deal.

    Any reviews on BHB?

    TIA

I'd go for the female spinner if you are guaranteed that she is healthy and feeding regularly. Otherwise you might get what you pay for.

Mixed reviews that I had already searched here... http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...-Brian-Barczyk

I'd like a healthy snake and no mites.....

Sending you a pm now about my experience with them.

I noticed you are in Daytona FL. Why not wait 3 weeks until the Reptile Breeders Expo and go get one there? You will have tons to choose from and you should be able to get a good price. Plus no shipping cost to pay.

I haven't dealt with BHB but I have had many dealings with Colin Weaver of East Coast Reptile Breeders and every transaction has been perfect. Colin sells truly investment quality animals.

I was just looking at his most recent price list and he does appear to have a female Spinner available.

I believe BHB will be at Daytona breeders expo as well, so you could meet them in person and look at their snakes first hand.

BHB will be in Daytona, but not bringing any adults unless it is strictly a pre-paid delivery deal.

Lori just now sent me pics taken just today as I requested of two 0.1 Spinners.... 954g and 1200g. They both look pretty healthy and happy.

The bright white on the second one is spectacular.

I wondered if the second one looking lighter was due to camera lighting, but it sure does look like a very bright full stripe.

Is anyone here saying I should pull the trigger on that 2nd girl??... and I'm sure if I'm not happy I could probably return it when they come to Daytona next month??

Why not post your experience in this feedback thread? That is what they are for...

I rarely buy bigger animals, but when I do I always make sure they have never been sick...I wouldn't want to buy an animal that has been fighting an illness at some point...

I bought a baby female black pastel from them. She is mite free, a great feeder, easy to handle, and a good example of her morph.

If you really want her, get her. Just make sure to ask a bunch of questions about her feeding habits, previous sicknesses(if any), ect. As you said, you should be able to return her at the show if you have a problem with her, or you could pre pay for her and pick her up at the show if you want to check her over before you bring her home

I know BHB had the mite outbreak a while back, but have there been any other issues? They seem pretty stand up, and I would have no issue buying from them.
