2012 BP.net ESPN Fantasy Football!

So we have 5 confirmed returning teams! That means we have spots for at least 7 more teams.

IMPORTANT - READ ALL THE WORDS BELOW

Last year even after a dozen requests that people only play if they are available and active we still had several people that didn't touch or play their teams all season long. That ruins the game for everyone so please only commit if you have several hours a week to dedicate to this league. Having said that, emergencies happen. Understandable. We had one last season and the player was nice enough to message the league and let everyone know that he wouldn't be able to play for a week. Life happens.

Please only respond if you have time and plan to actively play your team!

PM me with your invite email. We just need to keep the number of teams even.

We have a live draft and your attendence is fairly necessary to be successful. We will do our best to accomodate everyone but again, the needs of the many :D

We had a blast last year so hopefully we can do it again.

Tbh its really not too hard if you follow football. Just put in what players you wanna play each week and the computer does the rest of all the calcumacations and what not.

Who won?

It's been awhile since I played but when I played two years ago I won in all three leagues.

I'm going to try to get a 2013 league going, I'm just going to wait a bit until it gets closer though.

That sounds like a challenge! And challenge accepted :D That would be awesome. We had quite a few first timers last year but it was fun and I was impressed that everyone fielded a team in every game. I think we had one emergency where a bye week was missed but it was a fun time. We need some more experienced people to talk some crap. My only complaint was that it was a bit quiet from time to time.

Besides being a two time Champ I can talk my share of crap, quiet is unacceptable. I was a rookie three years ago and crushed the experts. I didn't stop when the season ended, I had championship tshirts made and sent them to all the "experts". Fun stuff for sure.

there was an unacceptable lack of trash talk, but I think that's probably due more to the nature of our particular league than anyone's flagging interest. I had a good time playing, even if I did have my ass handed to me.

are keeping the reins as commish this season?

LOL! I love it. I'd be fuming if I got a tshirt from someone else (not literally):D My dad has been in the league for the past few years and he always sneaks in the Championship. He's the quiet underdog. He's done that in every league we've played together. Oh I love the camaraderie. That's the best. I hope you join this year.

Yeah, sure thing. The league is all setup still. It just takes me a click or two and some invites to get things rolling again. I look forward to it. I struggled with injuries last year and barely made the playoffs. The previous year I did pretty well. It's still a blast.

Honestly last year pissed me off. i was leading my division for awhile last year then at last minute someone knocked me off the top if the hill hahaha
