    Opinions on this Spider?
The pairing was Spider male x Reduced Pattern "dinker" female. This was the first clutch for the female. She laid 5 eggs, but 2 went bad early on (don't think they were fertile). All 3 remaining babies were Spiders! But one of the Spiders (a female) is different looking. She's chunky, too. 89g at hatching. What do you guys think of her?

Here she is with her more normal sibling (who is already in shed, sorry):

    Here she is by herself:

I will post a pic of mom later...thought I already had one saved somewhere but it is hiding.

She's neat! I would hold her back for sure, and play around with that mom some more. Congrats! I love how she has the striping along her neck, it looks like she's outlined. Her spotted pattern is cool too and she's nice and bright. Definitely a keeper.

I would be lead to believe that the condition is genetic but only with more pairings with mom and someday this girl will you be able to say for sure. Even though I am not a fan of low/no white spiders I LOVE her pattern. Very cool and a keeper for sure!

She is RAD! I love it! That is one sweet looking spider! you would be a fool not to hold her back! If you want I have plenty of room in my rack I could hold her for ya! Lol! ;)

Her babies would be super cool especially with some enchi!

Yeah it sure does look like a leo spider! Wouldnt that be something if the OP scored a leo as a dinker?! :O

She is definitely a gorgeous looking spider. Holdback worthy, in my opinion :gj:
I, too, would love to see pics of mom!

She is very pretty! I too like more white on a spider, but she is still pretty.

That is really cool. I had a similar spider hatch out from a reduced normal female x high gold male spider. Mine doesn't have that speckling in the dorsal like yours, but here's a pic to compare...

Oh i like them! The OPs and Zombies!

They both look dinker worthy to me. Too bad the one the OP hatched out wasnt a male to put back to that momma! :/
Either way it def looks awesome!

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone! Zombie, the color on your Spider does look very similar. Was your Spider that produced it low or high white? My Spider male is very high white, and this is the first time I've gotten low white hatchlings from him. So I am thinking that has something to do with mom.

Here's a pic of mom as a hatchling, when we got her back in 07. She was actually a birthday gift I bought for my younger brother (we own our collection jointly now). So he's definitely excited...it's nice to know we have some potential here. This female has taken for ever to grow up. She just kept getting longer and longer...so even when she hit typical breeding weight she was just long and thin. This was the first year she was bulky enough to breed. I need to take a new pic, but here is the old pic of mom, sorry it's small:

I was thinking, I really want to pick up an Orange Dream male this year or next year depending on how the finances work out...do you guys/gals think an Orange Dream would be a good match for Spider female when she grows up?
