Interested in a Tutorial for a DIY humidifier made for less than $15?
I'm wondering if you guys would be interested in a tutorial for a humidifier I designed for snake enclosures. It's completely adjustable, can be put together in less than half an hour, and realistically could be done for under $10. It's not a fogger or a mister, and it's designed to be nearly invisible when it's installed.

FYI, I'm not looking to sell you a humidifier, and I'm not selling the instructions. I just want to know if anyone other than ME is interested in learning how to do it before I go building another one and writing it all up as a tutorial.

I'm interested too. Think it would work in an iguana's cage.

Umm... I'm such a slacker! No, it hasn't been posted. I built the thing, took pictures of the process and the initial humidity, then let it run while I typed the tutorial up. When I went back to get pictures of the hygrometer after running it for a while, I noticed my snake was being a little odd. Apparently, she hates it. I don't know if she can feel the vibration from the pump and the bubbling reservoir or if the air smells different after passing through, but every time I turn the thing on, Ajja freaks out. I've used the same set up with animals before with no problem. Maybe she's just a freak.

Anyway, after getting everything put together and working, taking all the pictures, typing it up, and spending at least an hour calming a neurotic python, I discovered this...

Since I'm not the only one who's had this idea, it's obviously a good one. Unfortunately, they got there first.
