Butter Pastel, Pewter, Normal, and new BCI
Just wanted to share some pictures with you guys of whats been going on over here. I'd like to do a video of my collection soon as well, so keep on the lookout!

    First up, my male Pewter:

    Beautiful female Butter Pastel:

And my faithful female Normal, Eero:

A friend of mine surrendered his BCI to me, so here are a couple crappy shot of him in the bathtub:

I don't really know much about BCI color mutation, is he just a "normal"?

And last but not least, the fruits of my ASF breeding:

Love the butter pastel. Forgive my ignorance but what does BCI stand for?

Are BCIs and RTBs the same thing? if not please correct me

I'm under the impression there are a few different kinds of RTBs including BCI and BCC. I'm new to boas though.

With boas, there are a bunch of locales. I am still learning all that too.

BCIs arn't "true redtails" - those are the BCC boas such as the Peruvians, Guyanas, Surinames, etc So technically when someone says they have a "colombian red tail boa" it's not totally correct IMO. And it's Colombian with an O not a U, I see that typo a lot too.

BCIs would be CAs (Nics), Hogs, Colombians (which I believe the OP's boa is a normal Colombian BCI boa)

Then you have BCOs, BCLs, BCAs....lol here's a good website that breaks it all down: http://www.riobravoreptiles.com/index.htm
