Just thought I'd share a pic of Hanover showing the single black scale in the middle of his neck stripe. It looks like a mite that never moves! ;)

"Freckles"...doesn't that sound like a cute name for a bp? Especially if you got a granite or one with a few of those stray black scales? :D

lol - Yeah, "Freckles" if it has a few of them. Maybe Marla should consider renaming Hanover "Spot."

LOL. He does have some speckling further down his side, and I did consider naming him Spot. :) I like unusual names, though, so I went with Hanover.

I go for the less common names as well - Just look at the 4 out of the 6 names of my pets. Hanover is very dignified, Marla.

hey marla... peanut has the coolest little pattern going on. there is only one stray black mark on his entire body, the only black he has are his bands other than the one tiny spot that is a perfect circle of about 15 or so scales.. i almost considered spot for a name as well. :)

I wonder if those black spots spread around a bp's beige areas is indeed a freckle....lol.

Will, it sounds like Spot would've been a better name for Peanut than for Hanover. :)
