She really is very pretty. How big is she? How large do they usually get, and how quickly do they reach full size? (Can you tell I'm new at this?)

lol...right now she is about 25 inches. From what ive read they dont usually exceed 4.5 feet. it seems to me she is growing extremely slow but im not sure. i only started keeping records about a month ago. In case you didnt already know this about colombian rainbows.....when she is full grown, she will be a dull brown with very little pattern to no pattern at all. i still think shell be interesting. she has an awesome disposition.

well i thought it looked bigger too. the rail it is on is only 12 inches long, but you cant see the whole thing. i think theres only about an inch cut off.

Thanks, Mike. No, I didn't know they darken and loose their pattern, but I would think that a snake with an awesome disposition would be far preferable to a beautifully colored and patterned snake that you couldn't handle. By the way, I love her name (its mine too).

ya that is a pretty cool name  . that name just popped into my head as soon as i started thinking of a name, so i stuck with it.

ok I'm a moron too lol... but I've only admitted it for the last 3 years... I thought the title was Columbian Redtail lol not Columbain Rainbow. I saw "Columbian R" and just assumed. Yeah that does look alot like a Columbian Rainbow now that I know what I'm looking at.
