i can't really see it. but i do know one thing, if you just got that bp you should definitely keep it away from your other one for a while....

I know do you think a 10 gallon would be big enough.

For just the one ball python, yeah; as long as he is around 25" or smaller. Otherwise, he may be too cramped.

And I honestly have no idea what that could be, I can't really see it. Has he seen the vet yet?

Is that a scar on the top of her head? where did you get that python?? pet shop? And I agree with emroul, you need to take that python to the vet.

They are kept seperate the white mark on top of her head is a water color mark. The dealer where i got her from marks his BP's to know which ones are feeding well and which ones are not. He said that it will come off with some water or when she sheds next.

thats an interesting way to see whos eating. not the best...but interesting. what does the "wound" feel like (if you can get your hand that close to its head)? itf they are jusst rough dull scales, they could have been rubbed against somthing. could it just be a little flaw in the color pattern?

41 quart sterilite/rubbermaids from Wal-mart are what I use for my adult BP's. The 28qts work fine for juvies.

I took her to the vet yesterday and was told that it was an old wound from maybe a bite or something and that it was healing fine. She gave me an antibiotic ointment to put on it just in case. She has no mites no ticks and no internal parasites. The spot feels raised a little and she also has a rough spot close to it. But the doc said that will go away in a few sheds. She is about 26" and weighs about 300 gramms. So its not to serious. I am trying to get her on the same feeding schedule as my other BP that way i only have to make one trip to the reptile shop every week. At 26" long could she take two adult mice?

You know i heard a guy at the pet shop tell me that i should feed young rats but i dont think that they could get it down. Then he said that if i keep feeding small prey that their heads will not grow. I have been feeding Jojo 1 Adult mouse and sometimes a pinky rat. It sounds rediculous to me but is this true?

their heads wont grow? omg i believe i've heard it all. not true at all buddy, however he is right. small rats are a better prey item.

up there you told us that you keep them seperate when it is obvious that you didn't at first in that picture you provided...not to be rude, but that is why i inquired on it.

Actually i put them together for the picture. I know i should not have put them together untill she got a clean bill of health. Lucky for me she has no contagous diseases and no parasites or i could have been in real trouble. I keep the new bp in a 27qt Sterilite container. She dont like it but she is ok i gave her a hostess cupcake box for a hide and she loves it. When do you recomend i put them together. The vet said it would be ok since she doesnt have any ailments
