FedEx Fairy Brought Me A Surprise This Morning!

Hey guys!


So, for those of you who were fortunate enough to read my excited rambling the other night about getting the okay from the fiance to get more snakes...this is the little Mojave I was talking about! He's a 2012 baby from Garrick DeMeyer weighing in at a whopping 81g. :D He is so sweet and adorable! I could just explode from the excitement. I've wanted a Mojo for what feels like forever and he was perfect. I love the high contrast back pattern and blushing. Anyways, here are some pics of my new little boy, Ares!

I really need to get a better camera. :P Garrick's pictures are SO much better. Lol! I hope you all enjoyed him! :D

Beautiful! I just got a little mojo boy yesterday. I want to buy something from Garrick too! I was looking on his site and those pair packages sound like a good deal to both me and my boyfriend! Sounds like that is something we might end up doing....

Beautiful little guy! Mojaves will always be my favorite base morph (got my first mojave from Garrick too :D He's got some good ones!)

Thank you everyone! He's absolutely perfect. And so sweet. He's coiled up behind his hide next to some foliage in his tank and I'm finding it very difficult not to just sit and stare at him. He's so cute. But, I'm doing my best to leave him be to get acclimated. He only wandered around his tank for maybe 30-45 minutes when I put him in before coiling up. So I hope that means he's relaxing and settling in. I can't believe I have to wait 7 whole days to try to feed him...and then two more to touch him. :rolleyes: I'm gonna go crazy waiting!

Awww! Mojo's are just so adorable. I love their colors. I have absolutely NO complaints about dealing with Garrick DeMeyer and his employees. They were very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again. Definitely highly recommended. And he has fair prices in my opinion for top notch animals. A pair deal would be sweet. Do it! :D

I'll get more pictures as soon as he's settled. I'm stuck with a my iPhone camera, but it'll have to do for now. I would love to get a nice camera for photographing my snakes and other wildlife eventually though. Maybe in a couple years if I don't spend my whole tax return on snakes...:P

I have no plans for the next week...so I'm sure it will be torture sitting at home, thinking about him sitting in the next room. But I'll get through it. It wouldn't be the first time. It's just so hard! :P

I understand completely. :P I liked the contrast of the dark against the yellow/gold. Some of the others had a lot of blushing that almost made them look brownish. They still looked nice, but I'm partial to the darker ones. But I guess that's obvious...:rolleyes: lol.

It's funny...while FedEx may anger many of us at some point...you can't deny that they bring us so much joy. lol. Congrats on your new guy! He's a real looker! ;) Ares is my first BP morph too. So exciting!!!

He produces some gorgeous snakes. I'm proud to own one. :) I bet you're going nuts right now watching the FedEx tracker huh? Lol. I woke up periodically throughout the night to check it and woke up early to watch for the FedEx truck. I'm exhausted. But he was well worth it. Can't wait to see some pics of her tomorrow morning! I really liked a couple of the females, but I needed a male. I want a female Pin and female Lesser eventually to make some Jigsaws and BELs. He's gonna be a busy boy in a few years. ;)

And i agree with warrior princess90. i purchased a bumblebee from garreck demeyer last year and to my surprise i heard "hello this is garreck demeyer" when i called. excellent customer service and a wonderfull example of a beautiful morph. After dealing with less than cordual sellers over the years i will probably buy most if not all of my future BP's from mr demeyer.

beautiful Mojave, I want one as well. :). Awesome coloring, enjoy that new lil friend.

My lil albino gal in my avatar I picked up from Garrick in April when I went to his open house. He and his main guy Kyle were top notch to meet. His facility is spotless clean and amazing to see in person how someone operates a facility of that size. In our niche hobby it pays to give kudos to quality breeders and royal constrictor designs is one of those breeders that deserves our praise for offering perfect customer service and quality animals.
