    BP Morph updates
As a few members know, I'm mainly working with my Carpet Python collections right now (Granites, Jags, Caramels, Pure IJ, Pure Coastals, Pure Jungles), but after picking up my first Albino Ball I couldn't stop there and decided to add some more to the punch. So here is a short update of what I have going on here with my small ball python breeding patch for now.

My first BP morph, Albino bred by Nick Mutton, Picked this guy up when I ordered a Coastal Caramel :-)

My bee, she's an absolute knockout! Early 2011, this girl will be breeding next year for sure just under 600 grams

Pinstripe - Base morph every keeper needs, although a base kingpin would've been ideal, I wasn't sure how vested I was going to be in this project.

The newest member of my family, a 2012 Pied with about 50% coverage, the sweet spot in my mind. The colors on this guy still amaze me, I have yet to meet a person, snake keeper, or snake hater, that does not enjoy this snake

Gotta love those belly markers! This is my Het-pied Girl, I do plan on adding a female Pied high white into the collection at a later time so I don't produce any hets, but again, I've chosen to invest in carpets right now!

Not pictured are my Het-albino female, and 1.1 adult normals which the female is currently wrapped around her water bowl :-) Once I get back from vacation in a few weeks I'll post a similar thread for the carpets showing off the Jags, Caramel, Granites, IJ's, and JCP's! Enjoy.

The het-pied was quite snippy that day for some reason. She's further calmed down now so I have no worries about her temperment.

That het. pied looks like she's gonna tag you in no time. I happen to like those feisty balls, better feeding response in my opinion. Sweeet balls you got there !! :)

Thanks Guys, yeah the Pied and Bee are my favorites in the collection as far as my balls go. I was holding back purchasing a pied for a while and a buddy of mine had suggested that I should be able to pick one up this season fairly cheap if I buy a fresh born early in the season. So I weighed out a lot of them talking with the sellers, and ended up finding the perfect flow of white, in my mind, and the seller was very eager to sell because it was the "lowest white" from the batch which he didn't think was ideal ;-) . . . one man's trash, another man's treasure.

Also ironically, I thought the feisty ones usually have a better feeding response, SO true for carpets, but man the het-pied is my only BP not to take a meal since they've been in the collection! The rest switched over to F/t like champs and are all eating wonderfully, even the pied took a meal on day 3 extremely fast and easy. The het-pied though has refused since she came in. No weight loss though, and she drinks, so I'm not going to push her she'll eat when she's ready :-)
