My Ball Python Escaped!?

After Locking! the cage my snake somehow got out, even tho there is/was no possible way for her to escape...
Does anyone have any tips or advice on where to look or how to find her???

Shes only a little over a foot long

First start near the tank. Under anything, next look in spots that give off heat. Like the back of a fridge, places like that. She couldn't have gone far. Good luck! Keep us posted

Look everywhere - small, tight, low to the ground spaces are most likely . Even if you think it's impossible. Look where it might be warm. Maybe post pics of your setup - people on the board might be able to tell you how to make it escape proof, for after you find her. Also, search this forum - there are lots of suggestions on how to lure an escaped BP back home.

my snake escaped 2 nights ago i found him on top of my radiator which is like 4ft off my floor with no possible way of getting to the top.. but it got to the top

CHECK EVERYWHERE

even lay a mice or something and waft the smell around

All of the above suggestions are good. We would make a sweep of the immediate area every hour at night with a flash light. They seem to come out and explore a bit at night(poke a head out or explore)

Was the enclosure still closed and locked after she escaped? Quite often they can cram themselves INTO decor INSIDE the enclosure, leaving the thought that they escaped without knowing how. I saw a thread not too long ago just like this, turned out the bp crammed itself into a hole of a skull or dragon decor that was in the enclosure....or something along those lines lol.

Don't forget to re-check places you already looked! Depending on the type of floor you have you can sprinkle flour on it and look for trails through it. (No idea if it works, I haven't had to try)

i lost my little girl for a week, same size and everything, i must have looked at her 100 times! finally after a little while i satrted to look again, i started to look right around the enclosure, and there she was, up on top. i dont know how she got up the high, but she did!

Get a live feeder and put it in a clear critter carrier. Put that on the floor near the center of the room. Then like stated above, if you have tile or wood floors sprinkle flour around the feeder. If you don't find it trying to get in the carrier the flour will give you a direction of travel.

I second the idea to check in and under everything in the tank again. It is amazing what they squeeze into.
