What is the best online ball python breeder/seller?

Right now the best selection I can find is ReptMart.com

Is there something better out there?

Why not Mark and Kim Bell are some of the big names in this industries and very respected?

To the OP how do you define best breeder/seller is it their customer service, size of their breeding facility, variety of animals they work with, big name in the industry, quality animals.

I know plenty of GREAT breeders on this very forum sure they might not have thousands square feet facility and big names but their animals, ethics and customer service speak for themselves.

royal constrictor designs had some nice looking snakes at good prices they tend to go fast though

What other species do you own out of curiosity?

I want to one day (2013) get a false water cobra.

I've never ordered any animals online, but i've researched many of the breeders that have been listed. A little bit of a pet peeve. It seems that not many breeders keep there website up to date. Many of the dealers just say email them to find out what they have. I understand at this time of year that there is so many new snakes being born that it would be hard for some of the bigger breeders to keep it all up to date. But if you have a snake that is "available" next to a 'buy it now' button and its been sold, take it offline. Just experienced this from some of the research I've been doing. Sorry for the short rant, reading the thread made me think of that again.

....But, back to the OP question. I am moving to Oklahoma soon and will probably buy from Mike Wilbanks at Constrictors Unlimited. He has a good reputation from what I can gather and having him so close also an advantage.

I have a Dumeril's boa, and a kingsnake as well as my ball pythons and carpet python.

Many people on this site aren't python exclusive.

I mainly keep Ball Pythons but I also keep a few Honduran Milksnakes, Bullsnakes, Carpet Pythons, Western Hognose all of which I already breed or intend to breed and I have a single Blood Python who is a pet.

there are many big name well known breeders with some great snakes.
you can also find some outstanding local breeders too.

Jon has become one of my favorite breeders, just because he seems to be into the same things as me. And it doesnt hurt that his snakes are some of the best examples of those morphs.

But like Deborah said, check the BOI before you buy from someone.

Garrick at Royal Constrictor Designs is great to work with, beautiful animals. As others have said, many, if not most people on this site are not exclusive to bps. We have a BCI, as well as leopard geckos, a uromastyx, and anoles, sectarian as reptile related animals.

I go there at least 2 times a week and know the owners. They are great, but are a little pricey because they are a retail brick and mortar business. They have 2 locations, one in elk grove, CA and one in Lodi, CA. They also sell online as you can see :)
