Hope for these eggs?

So these were laid June 9th and to me they aren't looking so hot. I have to once a day wipe the lid of all the water or it will drip on the eggs. I'm thinking I maybe need a small computer fan to circulate the air? I dont know but the dimpling is scaring me...

Your substrate may be too wet which can in turn lead to mold and kill the the eggs. I lost my first clutch due to this. I would put them on light diffuser and they your substrate can be soaked and you will still be fine. I would also add a small fan to circulate the air and a bunch of water bottles since it seems you do not have any in your pic. The water bottles will help stabilize the temps and reduce any hot spots. Have your temps been fluctuating much.

Just keep an eye on them and make sure they don't dimple more. If they do just increase the humidity, but based on the looks of the tub I think your humidity is fine

Temp has stayed at 89-90 with a helix. It's called a light diffuser? Where can i get one ? Ill go get it now. Thanks guys!!

They look fine!! If your are worried about too much humidity take some of your substrate out of a corner and replace with some that is dry....

they look ok so far to me. the condensation is cause by a difference in temps. from the inside of the egg box to the area surrounding it. (inside of the incubator). check the seal or how the incubator door is sealed. could be letting a little cold air in will cause this.

could be that you're checking them too much and you're letting in the colder air. place some water bottles with the lid on inside the incubator. helps maintain temps

slightly tilt the boxs so any condensation will go to the side and then down instead of dripping on the eggs.

use glad press n seal to seal the top of the egg boxs. no holes in it. open about once a week to let in fresh air and to also check on the eggs. last 2 weeks before they pip , peel back a corner to make very small hole to let constant fresh air in.

if the substrate is too moist I would think press n seal would be the last thing the egg tub needs?

I will tilt them a tad I didn't even think about that! As far as the press and seal goes and water bottles. When I added water bottles the temp rose extreme amount but warmer water was in them so should it be room temp? and when I tried press and seal it was way too air tight and there was so much condensation on top dripping on the eggs. So I think I'm going to just leave them checking them for condensation every other day or so

Those eggs look fine to me too.

One thing that can really help if you're having issues with condensation dripping is to use your medium to surround/cover the eggs (basically, bury them in it, just don't pack it down tight). I've done that with all my clutches ever since I started breeding, after I had an egg dry out at the top of the pile on my first-ever clutch. It helps them retain their mositure, in addition to providing a barrier between the condensation; if the water drips, it drips onto the medium covering them, but not on the eggs. I typically un-bury my clutches when they begin to dimple naturally (around 2 weeks prior to hatching).

But that Press N Seal has been a lifesaver for me! This was my first year using a homemade incubator (wine fridge) rather than a hova bator, and I had issues with my first clutch this year not in holding moisture. I saw some other members here recommending the Press N Seal to someone else, and bought some. My first clutch had already hatched by then, but I'm using it on my other two clutches--big difference on holding humidity! :) The condensation builds up on the Press N Seal, though, too, so my method of burying still seems to work for me. ;)

You can get light diffuser at Home Depot or Lowes it is usually in the lighting section. come in sheets of like 2'x4'. Like everyone else said I really think they look fine but it wouldn't hurt to put some light diffuser.

They look fine, candle them to see if they have good veins.

I use press n seal. I use light grids, nothing under them but water. can't get more humidity than that while keeping the egg dry. I get very little to no condensation in my egg boxes. the condensation is cause by warm air meeting colder air, the difference in temps, doesn't have to be much to get condensation. yes moisture has to be present. airing your boxs will help, but it's not fixing your problem. the problem is still there. if your substrate was so wet that it damage your eggs and had no difference in temps. the eggs would be bad, but with no or very little condensation. condensation is a difference in temps problem

yes place the water in the incubator as close to the incubator temps as possible without being really hot or cold. and place one in at a time to help prevent a big temp change.

to me, if the substrate is too moist, fixing it by not having a good seal on your egg box. is fixing one problem with another problem.
my incubator controls my temps, my egg box controls my humidity.
