Worst nightmare ever!!

I had the worst dream ever about my snakes! I woke up in sweat and tears on my face!:tears:

I always have the most extreme vivid dreams. I'll try to explain as much as possible. I had 2 dreams the same night. I dreamt that I was still a little boy and my parents left me. But the next dream was worst, It was feeding day for my snakes and they all ate. Which was great, but then when I went back to check on them, they all started yawning and corkscrewing. The next thing you know, one by one started regurgitating up all their mice. I was panicking! Then a guy that I don't even know came into my snake room and told me you should chop off their head because they are in so much pain. So he took out a butcher knife from behind his pocket and start chopping off their head. I got so mad, I started fist fighting with the guy. I actually could still feel the pain of the punches on my fist. I think while I was sleeping, I actually physically punched the walls. Thank god I had no one next to me....That would've been bad. I finally woke up covered in sweat..I immediately went and check on them and thankfully, they are all alive and safe. Phewww.....:please:

So yea, that was a nightmare. I couldn't go back to sleep. Anybody else had nightmares like this one?

I wish i could dream. I honestly cant remember one dream ive ever had. People tell me its not bc i dont dream, its bc i just cant remember them. Is there anything specific you do to induce such vivid dreams?

ANd ya that dream is pretty messed up lol.

I know a bunch of different Herbal ways to induce vivid dreams.

I am not just talking about marijuana. Like Teas and edible herbs. Stuff like that.

i still dont dream. Juat sleep really well.

What kind of herbs and Teas?

Ahh when I smoked for insomnia and spinal pain I found my dreams got a lot more vivid. Vivider dreams became even vivider if that makes any dang sense at all.

Anyways.

I am gunna PM you all the info I have to link some sites that would not be appropriate for public manners.

That sucks, but at least when you woke up you were able to go check on them. On occasion I'll have a dream that something bad happened to one of my sons but obviously I can't go into their room and watch them sleep at the moment. No more bad dreams!!:colbert:

Regular dreams? I'll do ya one better, look up "lucid dreaming" it's crazy awesome.

When I was younger, I had a dream I was at a random little swampy area, and there was a dock & I was with my cousin, and his dad came out of the water, with a Jason Vorhees mask on, and pulled me in by my legs, and I could feel my body literally move when that part happened, he wouldn't let me up either, so I finally woke up crying.

I also had a nightmare that had to do with my snakes. I had a dream that I woke up, noticed several tubs were slid out, and I thought "OH NO! I LEFT THE TUBS OPEN!!!".. I went to check on them, and sure enough, several of them were missing :tears:.... I was so upset, I called my mom, and asked my sister to help me look for them... We couldn't find them anywhere in my room or the hallway... We went outside and I saw my big 'ol normal turned upside down with scrapes on her, and I felt terrible... I woke up, looked straight at my closet, and they were all safe and sound.. That day, I just walked around with my normal (first snake) around the house, just super happy to have her :D.


A dream I used to have a lot is the one where my teeth fall out... I looked it up, and supposedly it means I said something I regret lol. I was definitely dealing with an issue that made me say a lot of things I regretted at the time. Psychology lol. Gotta love it :P

I had a weird one about the snakes where I was trying to change tubs, or maybe clean them? And it being dream world it didn't occur to me to do it one at a time, so I was trying to hold 4 ball pythons and they were slick, so I couldn't get a good hold and they wouldn't sit still. If I put one in a tub it would slide off into a dark corner where they'd disappear. I don't remember the end of it, but nightmares about the snakes are no fun :(

It's pretty ironic I see this thread. I've been up since 5:33AM, it is now 7:39AM, I had a pretty bad dream. The kind of dream that you wake up shaking and crying. I don't usually have such bad dreams but the feelings I got from it were so strong I just lost it. It may sound silly to some but I think describing it here may help me a little and get back to sleep.

In my dream, some man I didn't know, had never met or seen in my entire life had somehow gotten my email and cell # and kept messaging me. I was talking to them trying to figure out who they were.. (I think the man in this dream is recurring because I remember other dreams talking to someone I don't know). Well the man found out where I used to live and I was talking with him. I cannot remember our convo but I do remember his saying "I heard a weird noise.." I didn't find out what he heard but what I thought he might have heard..

We were outside working on our cars I think when he pulled out a pink tote bag and set it aside. I guess it was in my way so I moved it, but there was something inside, it felt like a body. That's where this dream became intense. Inside there were towels and something wrapped up. I removed one of the towels to see a cats black foot with white on the toe. I instantly remembered him mentioning the weird noise and I started to freak because the foot belongs to my cat Sassy. I started crying and saw one of our other cats Bonny and I said "Please Bonny, don't let it be Sassy."

I pulled out the towel wrapped body bawling and unwrapped it. There was Sassy, he was alive. I know I should be happy about that but the look in his eyes. They were dark and afraid... That's when I woke up.

The thing that bothered me now was how I felt when I found the bag and realized what was in it. The pain and fear was so real...

As I sit and think about it, it reminds me of something that actually happened in my life. My uncle was getting ready to leave in my Grandpa's truck. Our cat Pearl liked to lay on the top of the tires.. he backed out and we think he hit Pearl. He heard a weird noise too... and later we found him barely moving. We knew it was close to the end and I was holding him, wrapped in a towel. I was crying so hard as he died in my arms.

It just feels so spooky.. I don't think I'm going back to bed. Sorry for the long post I just had to get it out... :'(

Melatonin supplement pills. Take 1 about 30 minutes before bed time. You'll get some crazy dreams and a deeper sleep.

Oh yah forgot about the melatonin supplements. My cousin takes them in little strips that dissolve on your tongue. I tried them for my insomnia but they never worked.

Ok, so what is it with weird dreams recently ?

Yesterday I had another one of my awful stress headaches. I took my prescribed pain medication, but it didn't help, not so unusual. Anyhow I went and laid down seeking relief, and while I don't remember solidly going to sleep, I do remember dreaming. Now, I'm not going into the private details on this family forum, but I will say it involved my husband and I and our room past bedtime. It was getting a little odd, he was behind me and was rubbing my shoulders and I felt something cold touch my back. Cold and hard and sharp. I don't think I need to tell you what it was. I got a little bit scared, but excited as well. [ I know I'm weird, but he's my hubby and that's safe, right ?] Then he told me he was tired of other guys looking at me { which is hilarious since I'm 50 pounds overweight but dreams are dreams } and he was going to make sure they knew who I belonged to. I got smart and asked, "What are you going to do, brand me ?" and then my heart flip flopped when he said yes. Then there was this incredible searing pain in my right side, just over my kidney in the back. I was trying not to scream and he was holding me so hard it hurt and I could hear this disgusting sizzling sound. I woke myself up with my teeth clamped around a scream.

Now this is where it gets weird. I could FEEL the brand on my back. I don't mean maybe. There was a sharp, hot pain and I could feel it throbbing and I was sweating. It hurt so badly, and in this one tiny spot, I actually had to get out of bed and go in the bathroom and check to make sure there was no mark. It actually hurt off and on all evening yesterday and right up until I went to bed. Just this tiny spot of heat and pain right where I was branded in my dream. It really kind of freaked me out, but I have been known to hallucinate after taking my medication, so I blame it on that.

Yes. You can get them at any pharmacy. Even Walmart. By nature, I am a night owl. So I take them so I go to bed at a normal time.

i get the same nightmare over an over again. Its always the same dream of when I was invovled in a bad car accident but how it plays out is always different. The worse one was the hummer rolling into the water an not being able to get out. I seriously thought i was under water an when i jumped outta bed i was covered in sweat. That is when i do sleep which is rare now

im sure i learned something about dreams before, where if you don't walk up in a certain stage of the dream or a certain stage of sleeping then you wont remember the dream
so you must never wake up during a dream or anything lol.. which means you sleep good?
