Are you getting the ball python locally? That's a good deal if you are, you don't have to worry about shipping. Hmm...I'll keep thinking for some cool names. Is it a male or female, and what's the size and age on it? That may help me think of some. :)

    How about 'Golton'? (Or 'Golt')

Just reminds me of the German language (My favorite way to name animals :) and sounded cool to me.

That's Traum my Cardigan Welsh Corgi when he was 5 months old :) A really bad pic of him (he was lanky then going through the 'teen uglies') but it was taken at the beach during Hubby my honeymoon so it holds special meaning :)

His website is http://www.dreameyce.com/Traum if you were curious. He's my pride and joy :) I waited over 3 years for him (he's a rarer breed and I was VERY picky about my puppy) and he's done pretty well in the show ring.

And about 'Stewie' bunnies... I've been there too *G* Heck- one of my bunnies I'm now calling 'Ladybug Reba' because I called her both and couldn't decide on which to use! (She's a fawn Fuzzy Lop. Here's a pic of her and Traum http://www.dreameyce.com/eagleseye/traumnrebakiss.jpg)

Sorry... I'll shut up about my fuzzy animals... if it makes everyone feel better I'll be uploading snake pics soon! (Took pics last night) And want to say again... I didn't name 'Rad' *G* I'd rename him if I didn't think it would break his old owners heart! LOL

There is a trainer where I work and every saturday am for the past month there has been two corgi's coming in for socialization and basic obedience classes, they grab my heart every time. Very sweet breed, I fully recoomend them for someone with the time to give the attention needed.

What is "white mouse eater" in Japenese? That may suit a ball python a bit better. ;)

LOTR has great names ...if you like those movies. I have a new ball python named Smeagel and a green moray named Gollum. But then again, I am sort of a geek that way.

How about Chester? :D Or, Jester, LOL..Hmm...LOTR does have some beautiful names (especially the elven folk) :P Depending on if it is a male or female, I would say Arwen for a female. OR, Gimley for a goofy name. Or....Joe :) There are TONS of names, and you wouldn't believe it, but I found a site dedicated to pet SNAKE NAMES! LOL... I have seen everything now, but here you go:

    http://www.ophioservices.com/pet_snake_names.htm

Some of them are corny, yes, but just look through them and maybe you'll find something you like, or better yet, maybe spark an idea for a name (for instance, I like Xander for a name, but I was looking for a female name, so I changed it around alittle bit, and one of my ball pythons' name became Xandira). :)

I like unexpected names...like the giant retic named "Fluffy." Stereotypical dog names come to mind, like "Fido"...if you like something funny.

Or maybe "Blondie" if you'd like something a little more descriptive?
