Those pictures are not the best.
Better ones would help...in natural light without flash.
The head looks like it may have the fire marking, but those pics are just too small to see detail. His color looks fire-ish.

What makes you think he is a spider fire? Did you buy him as such, etc?

Haven't bought him yet but I have the chance to. The lady says that's what he is. The strip down his back is pretty light let me try to get some more pics.

Try and get her to send you good head shots. I know not everyone is a photographer but I wouldnt buy a bp without great photos to show detail.

Does the price seem right for "him"?

Well. It is a him because I was just over at the ladies house and I popped him and got plugs. She is a friend of my moms and offered him to Mr for 125.

I'd say he might be, the photos could still be playing tricks on me.

Is this a local sale? Hopefully you can look him over before you buy.
You may want to wait to see what other people say.

Fires normally have a head stamp similar to a pieds.

Oh well you've seen him in person then...well like I said I would say he might be but lets see what others say.

For $125 thats a SICK deal if he is really a fire spider. Where did she get him from? Seems low if I knew I had a fire spider.

i would probably think it was a regular spider but for $125 if you like it then go for it maybe if you breed and it is a fire spider you will produse something fire

Did she say it was or are you thinking it is? Where did she get it and what did she buy it as? Odds are unless she bought it as a fire spider than its not.

$125 is a fair price for a breeder spider male as is. Prove him out and then you'd be smiling.

exactly, thats why I asked where she got it from and why she would be selling it so cheap.

She said she got him and that's what the previous owners said. Here's some headshots. http://img.tapatalk.com/a693481a-63d1-2fdb.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/a693481a-63eb-5bf0.jpg

Makes me think just a spider. Should be brighter if it was a fire but 125 for a big spider is great so if I was you, regardless of this fire dilemma, I would grab it

I'm not seeing fire spider, honestly. $125 for a breeder size male spider isn't a bad deal, but I refuse to believe that any sane person would sell a breeder sized male fire spider for that little. I believe they are trying to pull a fast one on ya.

I don't think she is trying to pull a fast one. She said herself she didn't know but that's what she was told by previous owners. I have a hard time yelling some times with fires so that's why I'm asking.

It could go either way with him.

However, $125 for a breeding size male spider is a VERY good price, and I'd get him as a spider, if he proves to be more then great.

I dont see fire spider in that snake. Although if you do get him, some actual good pics of him would help.

Re: Is this a fire spider?
I'm not at all seeing the debate on whether it's a fire spider or not...everything about it, even with bad pics, looks like a spider.

What do you want it for? To breed? Do you want to breed a spider male OR do you want a fire spider male for breeding? Are you looking for a good deal on a snake figuring you'll pick it up on a whim and figure out what your plans are for him later? If you don't really want a spider male to breed, regardless of price, you probably shouldn't buy it. If you want one for a pet, have at it.

I've decided to pass him up. Reason simply I don't need a spider in my breeding plans, if he was a fire spider it would have been great but I'm not gonna take a stab.
