Weird position
When I woke up today I did my daily check on every one of my animals to see if they are all right, I saw my female spider ball lying in a weird position in her tub. I don't know it that's a sign of anything, it might just be nothing at all. The photo is her in her position. What ya think?

I should maybe add: tried to breed her from november - january, no eggs. Been off food for 4 - 5 months, shed yesterday. Sorry for double posting.

Re: Weird position
Have you been breeding her? The plump belly, ridged spine, and uncomfortable position would tell me that she's possibly gravid and moving the eggs into position for laying.
Seeing your new post, I'd say make sure your incubator is set up and expect eggs in the next 27-35 days.

Looks knocked up to me! Congrats!

Last lock up was in january, that's also the time I pulled her back from breeding. That's 6 months ago ! She couldn't be gravid, right?

She could totally be gravid. When was her last shed?

I just took this picture of my pastel girl yesterday, and she's maybe a week away from laying:

Pretty sure I read stories where they retained sperm for a couple years. At least one year

Hopefully she is gravid, I want her to start eat again. And of course, that would be my first ever clutch of eggs, I am super excited ! The incubator is ready to bake some eggs. And FYI, the breeding was ghost x spider.
Thanks for all the answers, I will upload pictures if the eggs pops out.

Congrats, and what a big girl! They can absoutely retain sperm for that long, and then some.

It's hard to say when a lock "takes." I started breeding my girls last October. I have one clutch that hatched a month ago, and two that are due to be laid in the next two weeks, and one girl that I'm hoping is still building to ovy. They certainly like to keep us on our toes.
