Cute little buggers you got there. The last one looks like it wants to play with the camera (or the man behind it). :P

    Well here we go again....
ATB is short for Amazon Tree Boa. Here is a very good informational site about them:

Marcus, I bet you'd do wonderfully with an Amazon Tree Boa, they are a wonderful species and are beautiful, Many people get them before dabbling with green tree pythons due to temperment, care, and cost issues.
I think you and an ATB would make a great pair!

  • 01-19-2004, 02:16 AM
Oh yessir......I am going to amass a breeding colony of Ammies. They are my target species and I am scooping up any healthy ATBs that my shallow wallet can afford, lol.

That sounds great! How big do they have to be/how long do you have to wait until ammies can breed?

Sounds like a nice breeding project you will have! Good luck with it. :) And those last two pics are cuties. :)

ATBs take a bit longer than other boas to sexually mature....Its best to wait until the females are 3-4 years old and the males about 2 years old.
