Can someone help me classify this little guy?
Hey everyone! Newbie member here and hopefully I'm in the right section. I picked up my second snake today and I was told he was from a Mojave and a Platinum. When people ask me what kind of morph he is I'm not really sure what to call him and I've been searching all day it seems. Can anyone help me out?

    Thank you! :D

Well the mojave is obvious. Platinum usually means Lesser Platinum, which he is not, because a mojave lesser is a solid white snake.

He seems awfully shiny. Has he shed and eaten already ?

I'm going to call it a super nice mojave.

Hi, thanks for the fast response! I was told he had his first shed, and has already ate 3 meals making him around 4 almost 5 weeks old I believe. He deff feels a bit soft though if you know what I mean.

I think he was from a mojave X lesser breading, and he looks like a lesser to me. Im new to this though so thats just my opinion.

Pattern isn't right for mojo IMO.

I'm not sure how to edit the first post, but I meant to say lesser platinum, not just platinum.

Thank you for all of the feedback! :gj:

Looks like a really pretty Lesser to me.

Definitely no mojave. The pattern and color is off.

Looks like a Lesser, and like you may have manipulated the photo to try to fix it, lol.

I did darken the photo and crop it to get a better zoom on him, but the original with the flash made him look slightly lighter than he is.. Heres the original photo if it helps though

I'm seeing Lesser too, but obvious photoshopping. Try to get a photo in natural sunlight against a background not so dark. Like on the patio in the afternoon.

That's a lesser, too creamy for a mojave

Yep, still looks like a lesser in the original shot, too.

    So, it's a Lesser Platinum. :)

When a blue-eyed leucistic that was created by breeding a lesser to a mojave is bred back to a normal, all of the hatchlings will be either mojaves, or lessers. So, there you go. :)

Well now, that second picture certainly makes up my mind. It's a Lesser, and a nice one.

Looks like a lesser to me as well the first picture was a bit too shiny.

I don't understand why you would have purchased the animal and the person not tell you what it was especially with you being new to this and all.

For some reason this piece of information is freaking awesome! Something I should have known but never thought of...
