HELP! I've been bitten and think I have had an allergic reaction to the bite.....here is what the wound looked like right after it happened:

    http://novogate.com/forums/1647/user/23319/9918.jpg

And 17 miliseconds later, MY FREAKIN ARM FELL OFF!!!! Is this cause to worry?!?!?!

Here is the culprit.....he may be small, but his attitude and HUGE FANGS make up for his tiny stature!!!

Your snake needs an orthodontist. His fangs are crooked.

What kind of snake is that? It is soooo tiny..and cute. What did you do with your arm after it fell off? Super glue it back on man, dont throw it away...you may need it later..LOL

In actuality its an African House Snake.....NOT venomous, lol.

And yes, I kept my arm, but it dried up and turned to dust shortly after I touched it. Oh well.

Sounds like an allergy problem to me, man. I would get it checked out. ;)

Oh, and the snake. Sounds like that's gonna be an ongoing problem between you two, so you can go ahead and ship the culprit out to me ASAP, and I'll take care of it until you get allergy medicine. ;)

wow, I was expecting much worse from an african house snake bite, watch out for your neck to dry out and your head to fall off

Jeanne, they are colubrids, and really great ones too.

Funny pics man. I was looking at the bite marks thinking it was a photoshop job, then saw the pic of you screaming and I nearly crapped myself. lol

I am predicting that within a few days your other arm will fall off, then your legs. Shortly thereafter, your body will start to elongate and your skin will begin to grow scales. You will lose the ability to blink your eyes, but you'll notice that your jaw seems to open a whole lot farther than it used to. You will find that getting around without your legs will at first be difficult, but you'll soon learn to control your stomach muscles so well that you'll find crawling around on your belly not only very easy, but very efficient.

The good news is that you will find it very easy to stick to a high protein/low carb "Atkins" style diet. The bad news is, you'll find the idea of swallowing small, furry animals whole very appealing.

OK, I had logged in before I posted that reply, but for some reason it logged me out and registered me as "Guest". I might have understood that had it been a long time between my logging in and my posting, but it was only a few minutes.

    I'm so confused...

personally i wouldnt worry about the lost arm, theres great fake ones now-a-days.
Id go for the terminator look, get one that has a gun or something that can pop out,and holes to show the metal bone structure underneath.Best part is you can get bitten as much as you want on the new arm and it wont be a problem.

Just hope that you dont loose all your limbs and change too much. Your new owners may have to probe you to find out what sex you are. Ouch!!
