Very pretty reduced pattern normal... :gj:

Beautiful normal bud. Oh & do you know what the mark is on it's stomach in the first picture

Re: is this a morph
To me it looks like a reduced pattern normal but dont completely take my word since im new to the all the morphs still.

Looks like a normal to me.

Looks normal. Do you have any reason to believe it is a morph? (sold as such, etc...)

That mark is just a piece of repti-bark that I must of missed. I just had misted the tank prior to taking pics. My normal that I do have that I know I have is much much darker. When I was looking at the genetic wizard I came across a disco that looked much like this. http://www.worldofballpythons.com/morphs/disco/ My phone does not take the greatest of picture, but color wise it's as light as the link

It was not sold as anything. I got it for free. I have not seem one that looked like this so I was hoping my be score. The guy I got it from had gotten it for christmas 2 1/2 years ago. It's 451 grams, and he was feeding it mice. I believe it to be underweight since it was living in a ten gallon tank. Very poor shed. Cage not clean. I think it became more of a rescue. Since the pattern looks like this I was hoping that it was something else.

Disco is likely a form of Vanilla/Fire so they have a head spot that I do not see there. There are variations in color for normals, yours is just lighter.

"Reduced pattern normal" -- which means, possible genetic reduced pattern. If she passes on the reduced pattern, then she's technically a morph, just not one that's officially recognized. I am not sure why, but genetic reduced patterns haven't gotten the 'morph stamp of approval'. Everyone seems to love them, though, so she would make a fine breeder.

I agree. I think they are having trouble being recognized since there are so many that are not genetic.

Re: is this a morph
I love the bull head marking in the second pic

One thing about normal ball pythons, they are like snowflakes, no two are alike.
They are dark, light, and every shade in between. Gold, bronze, orange, blonde, brown, you name it.
Patterns can be really busy, really reduced like yours, or anything else you can think of.
