    Great looking hognose there.

Much nicer looking than the hognose I find around my property, they are so plain looking. But still a hognose and I have allways loved the hognose.

I'm not 100% positive about this, but I do not think Western Hognoses can be found in Illinois.....you may have found an Eastern Hognose. They are much different in coloration.

    whats going on?
thats a cool snake. are hognoses pretty easy to keep, and how are their personalities? I have been thinking of new additions to my collection that arent too big, but are interesting. And may I ask how much you got that one for? Sry for all the questions.

Western Hogs are very cool and easy lil snakes. They are generally veru docile as adults, but babies can be feisty, like mine is, lol. Here is a link to a good caresheet:

Hmmm....its not working for me either.....just go to google.com and type in 'western hognose care'.......I paid $50 for mine.....I have seen them cheaper at shows.
