    What's Your Guilty Pleasure?
Everyone has their own, so what's yours? Mine would have to be watching anime and listening to K/J-Pop. Over the past four years I've seen upwards of 600 different series. ._. But, now, I don't really watch it much, don't have enough time, and I'm growing out of it I guess. Not the K/J-Pop though, I have a bunch of songs that fall into that category on my iPod. Haha.

So what's yours? Be as specific as possible! Haha.

im not really sure what classifies a guilty pleasure. Its nearly impossible to embarass me so i dont find many things i do to leave me with a guilty conscience lol. What are some other examples of what a guilty pleasure would be...?

A guilty pleasure is something you do, but, you don't do it in front of everyone, or you try to keep it a secret from people.

    From Wiki:
    Quote:

A guilty pleasure is something one enjoys and considers pleasurable despite feeling guilt for enjoying it. The "guilt" involved is sometimes simply fear of others discovering one's lowbrow or otherwise embarrassing tastes. Fashion, video games, music, movies, and junk food can be examples of guilty pleasures.

Same, I am confident enough in myself that I don't really have any "guilty pleasures". I think the original poster is referring to things people wouldn't normally expect from you. For instance, a metal head who loves to listen to the most hardcore death metal bands, but also enjoys listening to pop-country sometimes. That would be a guilty pleasure.

I guess mine would be playing video games...

But I do get paid for some of it through Machinima, so that takes away some guilt:P

I don't have any guilty pleasures. MOST of the stuff I do other people aren't into/probably find weird, but I've never kept any of a secret 'cause I'm not ashamed.

ie: abnormal [to most] love of reptiles, obsession with Stevie Nicks, diehard Hanson (yes, 'MMMBop' Hanson) fan, read and post on a celebrity gossip blog....

Meh. I am who I am. Embarassment is overrated.

Well i consider myself to be a hardcore metal head but most friends dont really like that stuff so i listen to pop music too. Rihanna and Kesha are two that come to mind haha. Its not a guilty pleasure though bc i do it with others.
I honestly cant really think of anything that i would consider a guilty pleasure -__-

I can't think of anything I do that others don't know about. :/ So I can't exactly think of anything that would be considered a "guilty pleasure".

I'm fairly open with a good number of things.

However, one does come to mind... One that I never do in front of others. Not even my boyfriend knows I do this. It may have slipped out once or twice a kareoke, depending on how extensive their list is.

I.... sing. Not a guilty pleasure until I tell you that my favorite things to sing are: Disney songs and certain broadway musicals. Including Rent, which I'm amazing at. Paticularly "Take me or Leave Me."

..... There. Now you know. Although only a drunken crowd of strangers could bare witness to this....

I'm pretty open about everything, not ashamed of much :)

Metalocalypse would probably be my number one if I had to pick though. Idk what it is about this ridiculous show but ever since I sat down with Netflix and watched the whole thing from the beginning I love it. I even like their music :redface: It's silly, it's crude, it's vulgar, I LOVE it. Especially being a girl, I felt a bit weird when I went to Zia to buy the whole series.

M.C. Chris's music......Drinking Robitussin as a recreational pastime (Okay, haven't done that one since I was 17 lol) Family Guy, South Park, that sort of thing..... Horror movies.....Video games.... Some Anime, Full Metal Alchemist being my favorite. I like the really dark, twisted stuff idk why. It always shocks people when I tell them that because I'm such a cheerful person I think they all think I'm a pink ponies and rainbows kind of girl *evil laugh*

Yup I think that sums it up.

The closest I really have to a guilty pleasure is wanting to spend too much on my snakes...and buy more snakes...and spend too much on them :)

Not really guilty as I am not ashamed, or would I keep from anyone. My husband can't stand it though. Watching the Will and Grace series over and over. I miss that show.

I really thought that if I sat here and tried to think of something that it wouldn't be hard but... I'm drawing a blank! Maybe fishing? But I don't hide that, I'd go every single day if I could. I still watch cartoons! My fiance doesn't like them so I pretty much have to watch them alone unless I'm watching a movie like Ice Age. He likes those... Other than those I dunno...

Oh my........I watch the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. I mainly watch it with my kids, but I'll admit, I like most of the shows. Phineas and Furb is one of my favorites.

I also love Cartoons. I watch them late at night, in bed, while everyone else is sleeping

Just remember another one!!!! Maybe not guilty, I'm open about it:)

I collect skulls, not real ones (well, a couple are,) but like carved stone, plastic, ceramic, crystal, ect. I like the really artistic, ornately decorated ones.

Here's a couple of the ones in my collection I found pics of online:
    http://s.ecrater.com/stores/2282/452...3a94_2282b.jpg

    http://i.ebayimg.com/t/CELTIC-LION-T...bJN8Q~~_35.JPG

I really love and wish I could get some of the gorgeous life-size carved stone ones but they're crazy expensive

This one's solid opal, my birthstone: http://www.rikoopictures.com/pix5032...76_1802285.jpg but its $1,199.00 :O

or this life sized geode agate one: http://www.skullisdata.com/pix5008/1...91_3801204.jpg...$1799.00 Don't think I'll be buying either anytime soon

    Yea...I'm a bit odd

Not only do I not keep things private, I openly flaunt things you probably don't want to see or care to know about.

Yeah, I'm that guy, you know the one who makes people uncomfortable at dinner parties, yet, seems to get invited every time!

    You know why?

Because secretly, you want me at that party stirring up the pot, you want me telling dirty jokes and daring your guest to do flaming tequila shots, you want me to start showing off my tattoos so everyone will follow suit, you want the night to end with discarded articles of clothing all over the back yard......uh umm, perhaps I've said too much.
