Post pictures, I might as well show you the ones I took tonight of a sub-adult female bp. She is the import I "rescued" from the petshop. Anyway, take a look:

She is certainly not one to be social. (She stays curled up in a ball like that for 10 minutes before she loosens up :()As you can see, the only thing "wrong" with her is retained eye caps. She's on her dosages for Panacur, and seems to be doing alright. She's out and about every night, hiding during the day, and fricken gum is still stuck to the side of her neck, LOL (She was the one that escaped not too long ago..And I think she had a run-in with my trash can )

And just for kicks, I took my '03 females out for a short photo shoot, as well. I only got one good head shot that was worth showing off, I thought it was kind of cute. Introducing, Xandira:

Well, thanks for looking. And there is always more where that came from:)

Yeah, I'm sure by the end of winter or beginning of spring the import should be feeding. Let's hope, huh.. And once she sheds, the eye caps will be gone (and so will the gum ).. and she should come around to be a nice little female. She is probably going to be strictly pet only, but you never know; in 3 or 4 years she could weigh 3,000 grams and be as healthy as a horse HEHE... LOL.. We'll see I guess.

Jennifer, it wouldn't hurt to try. Peanut butter can get gum out of hair, so it might work on a snake. :-) If nothing else, she'll taste good, LOL.

they say that peanut butter will get it out of hair...didnt work for me...grr... i dont know that it would work though. im not sure about this but i think the reaon peanut butter work is because of the oil gets in between the hair and the gum and the gum comes off(supposedly...cuz i didnt work for me...i melted the gum out with hot water). here another idea to get the gum off...soak the snake for a while...meanwhile chew a piece of gum...after while of soaking, dab your chewed gum on the old gum stuck to the snake. that how i get gum off my face when the big bubbles pop :)

    LMAO!!

Ok, ok, now that I'm done cracking up....:lol:

I'm pretty sure I should just leave it be and she will most likely just shed it off. I wouldn't want to damage any scales or do something weird..with my luck...

Freezing also works to help get gum off stuff, but I figured a shed was a lot better way to go with a snake!

    Medical question..
LOL why is that Will? Don't tell me you're willing to trade me one of your organs for her like Randy did (for Caesar) LMAO...

perhaps an external body part, not quite an organ... perhaps if she were het for pie ;)...

and that reminds me, glad to see that rattler pic in the ROTM section ;).

Awesome looking BP's you have there. Those pics are great. I wish my babies would stay still long enough for me to get some decent shots. Thanks for sharing.
