My 1 gene Spider daddy turned 2 gene!! Pic Heavy!!!

So I bred my awesome looking spider male to my pastel and was fully expecting to make a bumblebee!! :please: This has been my dream snake since 07 and I absolutely refused to buy one when the prices came down...lol. (So my pastel has only bred once before and that was to a pastel so there is NO sperm retention going on.....) So imagine my surprise when the babies hatched out and I got 2 pastels, 2 blk pastels, 2 pewters, and A BEE!!!

This. Is. Awesome! I bet the bee was the very last one to hatch, too! Hahaha! They're so gorgeous, I love, love, love the pewters (: How do you get a pewter, anyway?

I am saying as of now the spider has to be a black bee (black pastel spider). I have an email in to his original breeder but no response yet. Thats the only way I can think of to get the black pastels and the pewters in this clutch.

Those black pastels are hot also. Great clutch. That spider has to be the one with black pastel in it and that made some very fine looking babies. CONGRATS! The second black pastel is very good looking.

And the funny thing was they all pipped on my birthday!! And we got 4 Albino x Pied eggs the same day!! I have not sexed them yet. I typically wait till after they shed. And now we have to rethink our plans! We were not expecting more blk pastels or the pewters!! LOL, not complaining....so not complaining!!

do you mind if i ask where you got your spider from? i'm only asking because my spider looks similar to yours, with the high white sides and the inkling in my head there is something more going on with my spider than what meets the eyes.
attached are two pictures. one of when i got him about 6-8 months ago, and a more recent one.
i want to breed him this year, and undecided on what to breed him to. with seeing your results i might breed him to my super bright lemon pastel and hope for similar results.

The spider came from Alice and Andrew at Florida Reptile Room. Super great people to deal with! We have picked up quite a few animals from them when we lived in Fl. When we bought the spider they told us he was a hold back because they thought he might have had something else going on but as he got a little older they decieded to sell him..lol..we picked him up for a STEAL!!!! Even more so now...lol
