    Lots of refusals lately....
Is anyone else experiencing this. Seems like all my bps are striking right now. This is just so frustrating.

LOL. I must be one of the lucky ones whose snakes are eating again. I think thats one of the reasons that balls are so popular, NEVER a dull moment. They keep us on our toes for sure.

all three of my adults haven't been eating for about 2 months, one has taken a african soft fur or two but that's it. I keep telling them breeding season is over... starting to worry

my male enchi will be on week 3 as of friday, but his last meal was fairly big, so I'm hoping he is just happy with that. my male normal I think is on week 6-7, but my females won't miss a beat. one is on a 5 day feeding, the other is 7. it's frustrating. it's weird with my enchi, he did an actual strike to the rats this week, and last, missed, and never tried again after....

I've had this problem before besides the times they naturally go off feed. If te males aren't eating because of breeding you might want to try putting them in a seperate room so they can't smell them anymore, also I found that sometimes the problem can be looking at them too much or offering food too much , not much details in your post hope this helps, also make sure their hot spots are up to temp. Good luck

I have one that has not eaten for 34 days now. But all of my others would eat every single day if i let them. Especially the ladies, they love the mice and rats.

All three of my bp's are now refusing food. I have tried everything in the book. I am now the proud momma of six little rat pups and I will not be euthanizing them because they are just so dang cute!

Thanks everyone for your help. I haven't changed anything in my snakeroom - they have always shared the same room. I have both males and females that are fasting right now. It seems its hit or miss each week - I offer every 7th day. I don't do any breeding at all.

I understand that this is just how bp's are but it still frustrates me to no end. I think the most aggravating thing is that there is no common reason that you can put your finger on - it is just sooo all over the place with who eats this week and who will not the next.

My boa and milksnake will eat anytime you offer - they are wonderful to keep.

Temps are 90 hot side, 80 cool side with humidity around 65% - they are all in RBI Racks.

I am also noticing almost every one of my guys is refusing. Which is really bugging me since I am still in the locking stages of the breeding season.. These girls need to eat to produce healthy eggs. So frusterating!

My snakes was fasting for a lil over 2 months. I just got most of them to eat last night. 11 out of 13. Even the picky live rat eaters decided to eat f/t. Woohoo! It takes time but they'll eventually eat.

I don't know, Perry has only gone on one strike in the four years I have had her and that was due to a blizzard that lasted two weeks straight. Try smaller rats or mice because they might be intimidated by larger rodents. Just a thought :) good luck

i am experiencing this as well, one by one my 2011's went from being ravenous to nothing, they are kept in rbi racks as well with about the same temperature gradient.....my woma pythons and carpets are eating fine though, and my adult females are going to lay soon.....did your snakes start eating again for you?

Nope - still dealing with the fasting. Some will eat one week and then go off again for several weeks. I have one male thats been off for months. Two of my females have been off for a month now. Very frustrating to say the least.
