I would like to see pics of your chickens, turkeys, pea fowl, guineas, geese, ducks, and any other fowl you may have pictures of.
Here are a few of mine though they aren't great pics

2 of my friends have chickens. Now that theyre home for the summer from college ill be over there hanging out alot. I'll try and remember to get some pics of them next time!

Personally i only like ducks. Any other "farm birds" kinda freak me out or annoy me. Ducks are sweet though, i definetly want some when i have my own place someday!

I'd love to see some pics, and chickens are great pets. They pay for them selfs and can even make you a buck or 2 if you have enough in selling the eggs. I also raise meat birds but don't consider them pets cause I can't eat my pets. Yes, rooster crows can be annoying too. But I've come to enjoy it.

We have around 60-80 chickens, haven't counted lately. We also have ducks, turkeys, geese, goats, and a sheep.

None of the pictures are up to date, the duckling is a baby of our Pekin duck pair, we also have 4 adult Khaki Campbells, we hatched them out and raised them, they have a few ducklings too.

Two pictures of the chickens I transported to a new owner from my aunt's house. They live in a new country home with lots of other chickens, goats and critters. My aunt has a ton of chickens plus guineas.

I used to have a bunch of pictures of her chickens and such, but they got wiped the last laptop crash. I'll try to get more when I go by there next.

I will try to get pictures tomorrow, I have 3 Americanas, although they are probably really Easter Eggers. I still love them = ). Hopefully they are all hens!

No fowl for me, unfortunately. I'm not much of a bird person myself. And living in the suburbs, I dunno how that would go over with my neighbors... or the rest of my pets. :P

I sorta worded that poorly lol, bc chickens obviously dont crow like roosters :P
My stepdad built my dog a really nice dog house when we first got her, roughly 4'x4' and she has never once stepped inside it lol. Shes now 13. Shes an inside dog anyways so who knows what he was thinking . Anyways do you think, if it was modified a bit, that it could make a good house for some chickens? Im thinking it would be perfect and have been trying to convince him for awhile. I have plenty of family/friends that would gladly take any extra eggs we got! Eggs are getting pretty expensive so the chickens could probably pay for themselves within a year i would think.

I would say yes, the dog house could probably easily modified to house 4 hens comfortably as long as they able to free range during the day. Chickens need about 4 sq ft per bird if allowed to free range and a minimum of 10 sq ft if penned up all the time. With 4 birds during their peek laying you can expect an egg a day per bird, so a dozen every 3 days. At $2 a dozen you could pay for their food easily every month plus several for you, your family, and maybe even your neighbors if you like. If you have any more questions please ask I love me some chicken talk.
