Stainless steel dog dish for water bowl.
Im sending my girlfriend shopping for some good water dishes for my pythons, the ones i has worked good while they were smaller, but they have outfrown them and keep tipping.

Im trying too explain too her what I need, but she will somehow end up buying the wrong bowls somehow.

can anyone post pics of there heavy water dishes that cant be spilt over and is large enough for soaking, I was going too tell her just too get stainless steel dog water dishes, but that might get a little pricey then neccesary.

anyone help me out with some pics, tonight if possible.

^ YUP! I use ceramic dog dishes. The ones I use come in multiple sizes and are perfect for my snakes. Juvenile bowls cost like $5 each and the Adult bowls run me about $8 each.

I use small animal(for rodents) ceramic dishes for hatchlings and juvies in 16 qt tubs. They're about $1.50-2 at petstores.

And my bigger snakes and juvies in 28qt tubs get a small-medium plastic dog dish. The dollar store had nice looking ones for $1 each.

I haven't had any tippers yet.

Those are the ones I use as hides. I cut a door with a jigsaw (the power tool, not a mojo pinstripe, although I feel like that would be interesting to try) and file the cut edges smooth. They love it:)

These are what I use. They stack with room for water so you can stack them to go to the sink, wash refill and still carry them all at once. I have had them spill before, but not as much as any other I have tried. reptilebasics sells them too.

Not to start anything but why not go get them yourself if she's going to get the wrong thing? That way you'll get the right thing for sure. Right now I'm using square Tupperware dishes that don't tip, but I'll switch to ceramic dishes when they get bigger.
