Pet store gave me some hopper mice for him/her. Hope he can eat that. He had a pinky Saturday and it was too small of a meal for him. Should I wait til this saturday to offer a hopper?

I would go ahead and offer it. If hes not hungry, he wont eat it.

Thats why I picked him/her h the colors stood out to me it was the brightest one in there.. Would I be able to get "it" sexed at a reptile expo? I know there is one coming up in noblesville indiana in like 3 weeks. Im curious if I got a male or female. Im feeding him/her pre killed mice im too afraid to offer a live mouse cause I dont want the mouse to bite my snake. I heard that can happen.

    Cute wee little worm!

She looks like she can use a few good meals, but seems quite healthy overall.

Please stay and learn all you can, and keep us updated with pictures, we all love pictures here!

You should at least be able to have someone teach you how to sex a snake at a reptile show. Some shows do not let you bring animals in unless you are a vendor at the show... plus there is the risk of your snake getting sick/mites from another animal at the show.

In the mean time check out these 2 videos. they are no substitute to having someone teach you, but are a start:
