Well, we've caught a few glimpses of its patterns so we're pretty confident that the black pastel has fathered at least three of the eggs, including the one that died in the egg. The others look like they are a pastel and a fire, but until they emerge we can't be 100%. A 1" slit isn't enough to be sure. The pairing was a female fire x black pastel x pastel x spider. I didn't want to disturb them too much so I snapped a quick pic of this ones head and put them back.

No known hets in any of our clutches, sorry, but we have a few more clutches still cooking/still need to be laid that also might contain black pastel and black pastel combos if you're interested. :gj:

OMG! That is an amazing egg pic! I have never bred, so I don't see eggs, that is CRAZY awesome! The VEINS! I love nature.

Hatching pics are some of the cutest ever :D

I hope that's just a wrenkle at the top of it's head that'll work itself out as it sheds and grows.

Yeah, just a wrinkle. I think the way the picture was taken makes it look a lot worse than it really is. In case you're wondering, its nose isn't dented. That is a little piece of vermiculite stuck to its nose.
