Bumblebee Pattern Strange?

I am looking at buying a Bumblebee but this one's pattern (or at least the stripe on it's back) doesn't look quite right to me from the pictures I have seen.

I am new to BPs and this would be my first. It is supposed to be about a year old and they don't know the weight (private seller, not a breeder). I will have to travel about an hour to get it.

Just looking for some advice, so all comments welcome!

Can you provide a picture of the bee? It's difficult to give advice if we don't know what it looks like.

Looks like a normal pattern to me.

that is a strange pattern. head screams bumble bee. very strange indeed.

He's cool looking...definitely has a strange pattern. Looks like he may be going into shed in the pics. I'd have no problem adding him to my collection...

Some spiders have patterns like that, so it makes sense that some Bees do as well.

Yep thats a bee, her sides could be a little higher white but she is nice

Zombie has a spider hatchling like that. It looks as if its retaining a normal looking pattern before branching into the more spidery pattern.

Either way, I like it. It's unique, but not uncommon.
