She's actually named after a cat we used to have. She (the cat) had a heart defect that made her very wobbly (her nick-name was Tardos) and off balance but she was the sweetest, most outgoing and intelligent cat ever. She learned how to fetch, 'sit',' and 'sit pretty' where she would sit on her butt and lift up her body with her paws on her chest, all on command.

Grace (the snake) reminds me of her a lot.
