Well, I just got my first clown two weeks ago and posted pics when he arrived. However, he took his first meal a few days ago and I documented it.

I'm shooting for clowns this coming season. I took the long road and bought a pair of het but I just weighed the girl yesterday and she's about 1400 grams so I'm pretty sure she's going to be good to go for me this year. These clowns are just making me want to throw another rat in with her this week.

I would be throwing 2 or 3 in, lol.
Most of my sub adults are eating 2 smallish meals a week right now and my big breeding females are eating 2-3 mediums a week right now ;)
This season we are shooting for clowns, black pastel clowns, yb clowns and Ivory clowns this season not to mention mojo het clowns, pinstripe het clowns and albino/clown double hets :banana:

Wow that's great to know Jerry. A couple of my girls would eat everyday at this time of year if I let them. Good luck with all of those clown combos this season. I can't wait to see how they turn out for you.

Lucky you. Seems like all but one or two of my girls are fasting right now. Wish I could get them to eat like yours. Whats your secret?

92 to 95 degree hot spots
small rats from 50 to 80 grams and not over 100 grams even for the biggest females
Paper towels
no hides
41qt tubs for big females
Otherwise I'm not sure why but our big girls are just super good eaters.
We, like everyone else, have a few that are not so easy to keep eating, but strangely right now every single one of our snakes is hammering food from babies to all of the adults, good times :D
