Randy, Shes a damn good lookin' Boa, I wish I could post pictures to show off my Emily.
Question, what type of Red Tail is Jazzy? The reason I ask is because mine is the same light tan markings, and most of the other Red Tails you see are much darker...is this just different regins of captivity?

Beautiful boa for sure!! I'm with wizill, once I move out of here I'm onto a BCI (or more than likely a FEW heh...)..and other stuff like albino burms, retics, etc. I love them, but there 'aint no room here!!

Thanks, everyone! Crowley, she is a Boa Constrictor Imperator, or BCI. She has always been light colored, but she is also still young. She is right at 4' long. As they mature, they tend to darken up. The Boa Constrictor Constrictors, or BCC's, tend to keep their stunning colors, but I can't afford one of those!

Randy, awsome boa. Make a video of it some time :)

I got butt loads of spare bandwidth. And get this, I deleted a bunch of old files and manages to save 10 megs! So the site in it's entirety is like 70 megs.

OK, have a question.. whats the difference between a BCI and BCC? And how do you tell them apart?

    Holy ****!!!
Um...different snakes. Different in size, looks, husbandry, and temperment. Basically two different species, well...yeah, that look alike.

For suris and guyanas, they are purer, larger, and have better saddles. The biggest difference is the tails. Their tails are much more red. They are worth more too. They need higher levels of care. Thats BCC

BCI is actually columbian boas, but they get called red tails. Most people don't use the term red tail anymore, and if they do it is assumed it is bcc. But bci is also called red tails for obvious reasons. They are smaller, and a more rugged look. Freckles, dark tails, ect. Pretty big differences.
