thats hilarious, I once got my neighbor to get a pet rock instaid of a lizard by telling him all of those qualities :) (didn't want him to get a lizard because he was gonna keep it in a 1 gallon critter keeper, and feed it lettuce (it would be a mediterranean gecko he caught)) I should give him that website so he can expand his collection :)

I just wish they had a care sheet out when I had my pet brick. Took mine swimming with me and never saw him again, the rescue squad was never able to recover the brick. We feer that he is a permanent fixture in the lake bottom. Oh how I miss my little Adobe. :cry:

I have been going through therapy for it and am almost through it. I finally went and purchased me a pet rock, he didnt take all the pain away but he sure has helped. The only problem with him is all he does is lay around all day and collect dust. Just not quite as playful as ole Adobe. :mrgreen:

how come my brick won't eat? also, it's shedding in a zillion pieces. and on top of all that, it bites.

Make sure when you get bitten you clean your wound out thourouly. They carry alot of bacteria in their mouths!!

As for the shedding issue, Wait for it to rain and put it outside. (as long as it won't run away) then check on him in a day or so.
That's what has worked best for me..

Sounds stressed to me...........try offering more hides, and rewarding with kind words and petting for simple tasks done..like sitting or playing dead :lol:

when you put it outside, make sure that you have it tied down properly or it will run away and leave you forever. from the sound of your brick it was taken from the wild, and will try to return it it if it gets the chance.
