Fantasy Football! Who is in? MUST BE COMMITTED

Hey football fans! Another season approaching...

Do you have the ability to commit to playing the entire Fantasy season including the playoffs?

Last year rocked and we had a lot of fun. There were good times to be had. Overall, the people that showed up to the live draft found the most success. I would urge everyone that is going to commit to make every effort to be available for the live draft to maximize your chances at winning.

We also had several people that did NOT play all season. This ruins the experience for other people so I'm going to ask that only people that can commit to playing every week respond.

AGAIN, this year we can only accomodate people that are going to play THE ENTIRE SEASON!

If you have played before and know what you are geting into then sound off and we can make sure to invite you into the league.

If you can not commit to playing every single game (barring extreme emergencies) then please DO NOT respond.

We'll have a live draft like last year and the same basic rules.

I have three already. All three actively played the entire season and playoffs last year.

Who else is in?

Im in for sure! I played through NFL network for the past two years now with friends. What do you do yours through? If there was an app available for the site it may make it easier for some people.

I'd definitely be in. I played through ESPN last year, but no with anybody I knew or knew of haha.

ESPN and they also have an App that makes it easy :) Sounds good!

You know I'm in. I'm not letting my son handle the first 4 games this year so I figure I have it in the bag ;)

I'd like to play.

I did it through Yahoo last year, but I can easily sign up for ESPN as well.

Sweet! Yeah, looks like we might end up with a nice big league this year. I hope CCfive (Cory) doesn't see this. We can't have him whipping everyone again this year.

if there are any openings remaining I'd be glad to play. my last league was in law school and needless to say there was an excessive amount of arguing and discord. anyone feel free to pm me for my email.

Umm... Is this a not so subtle way of saying no newbies? I've joined several leagues that never made it off the ground, though one did make it to the draft at least, but I've never gotten to play a game much less a season. Just wondering...

No its not at all a way to say "bugger off newbies" lol
He means only commit if youre gunna actually play. Ive played in leagues where ppl never change their teams up at all. If you dont follow whats happening in football then dont bother playing fantasy bc itll ruin it for others. If the whole Jets D-line eats bad sushi the nite before a game and wont be playing due to food poisoning then you should probably not play them as your starting D that week lol. Or if Eli manning has his spine broken and will miss the rest of the season then keeping him as your starting QB for the next 15 weeks is not cool.
Just silly stuff like that, if you can commit to sorta following whats going on in the NFL an try and adjust your team accordingly then by all means play!!! :). I havent played in the bp.net league before but it should be lots of fun :D

I too am curious about an approximate draft date, but I'll be sure to come back to this thread for updates. ;)
