My First Clutch Ever (been waiting for 6 years)
Found my albino wrapped around a clutch of 5 healthy eggs yesterday! I'm beyond excited! This was from a Spider Het x Albino pairing.

Ah thanks! I think I do too! When I got this girl she went off feed for 14 months. I had to tube feed / force feed, nurse her back to health from a respiratory infection, she was food shy from eating live and being chewed on. She still has scars but they are fading away with every shed. This was back in 07 when I bought her as a "breeder size albino." She has done a complete 180 with proper care and time. Very happy to see some eggs! I think I spent 2k on her and almost another $600 in vet bills. If my luck is really good I could break even with just this clutch. :)

I would never have lasted 6 years!

I almost tore my hair out when my favorite girl didn't go for me her first season here. I knew there was a chance she wouldn't, I bought her right after laying for the third year in a row, but she went through all the motions with me, got my hopes up, then changed her mind last minute.

Very best wishes to you and for your clutch, here's hoping for nothing but visuals!

Congrats! I wish you successful hatching and good odds! It took years for my first clutch as well. It was really frustrating, but I think it made getting that first clutch all the more exciting! :gj:
