Finally gave in...
Alright, for a bit of a background, I fell in love with an albino burmese python years ago which is what got me into keeping/breeding snakes. Since they were bigger than I ever wanted to keep, I found the next best thing, an albino ball python. They were out of my price range back then but now, I figured I'd get one next year since I want to make sure I have my breeders this year (focusing on mojave, pastel, lesser). Went to the reptile show today with the intent to bring home either a lesser female or a pastave male (if I found an outstanding one as he won't be needed for another year yet). First snake to catch my eye though was a high contrast albino girl. Needless to say, I didn't even see a lesser at all and ended up coming home with the albino. Think that I'm going to be switching my breeding plans around a little since I wasn't planning on getting her til next year. Anyways, here she is! Her name is Aria.
She decided to explore a bit while I set up the light tent.

Very nice! Can never go wrong with an Albino.

Albino lessers are smokin hot ! You should still bring the lesser gene in :gj:

Beautiful!
My first ball python was an albino.

Thanks and I will still be bringing the lesser gene in. I really want a BEL and it's more fun to breed my own than to buy one. Originally, I was going to stay away from the recessives (too many years with corns and nothing but recessives) but I figure if I'm going to have an albino, it might as well be a girl to breed. She'll be going to a pastave boy as soon as she's big enough. Then there will be the holdback projects... ;)

She's gorgeous. Nice photos too.

Oh she is gorgeous!!! I love my albino boy and I just fell in love when I saw him and I had to have him. They just have classic beauty. One of God's prettiest creatures for sure.

Sharp looking girl you've got there! Heck yeah to the appeal of a good looking albino; my first ball was (still have him) an albino. I love the recessives but I hear you on the time/work involved. Certainly tests your commitment to a project, that's for sure! Great looking girl and congratulations.

She's a real hottie!!! Sometimes you just have to pick them up when you see a really nice one like her.

Thanks and I do want to work with the recessives at some point, but since I'm just getting started in BP's, I was going to wait a couple years before getting to that point. Guess this throws that timetable out the window though.

Thanks! You know, I never had this problem with corns. I'd see a pretty one and if it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, I could keep from bringing it home. I blame the first albino ball I saw and fell in love with. ;)
Thanks everyone for the comments. Now to get her switched over to f/t and find a good pastave boy to put my girls with.
