Billy the Exterminator is an idiot...

I was watching an episode of Billy the Exterminator "that's how bored I was" and he found a ball python in a ladies house. I personally believe it's nothing but a setup but he was saying that due to people releasing these "pets" there is now over 40,000 wild pythons....and that people buy ball pythons as babies but don't realize they can grow to be 25 feet long and kill people....what an idiot.

I've never seen that particular show, but I've seen a whole host of other shows that sound just like that on Animal Planet. It is all a scare tactic to get higher ratings and push agendas. I miss the old Animal Planet, when they actually liked animals.

Yeah he's pretty ridiculous, I was watching the one where he caught a burm. He started acting like the burm had him wrapped up and was going to kill him for dramatic effect.

He also went on to say that a couple more years and the ball would be eating the ladies dog...ARE YOU SERIOUS?! I wish people who had no idea what they were talking about would do research lol.

It's a good thing it didn't kill and eat him. That poor snake would run a real risk of impaction from all the spikes and chains.

Unfortunatly, they still air episodes of this guy. Ive disliked him since the first time i saw him on tv, it was the episode of the burm under the ladies house. Obviously it was completly tame, no hissing at all, not a single strike, nothing. He made it seem like the burm was constantly trying to kill him, when he was the one restling it around like its an alligator for no reason.

Just stay away from animal planet altogether, its bad news.:colbert:

The sunglasses, along with his while outfit are the dumbest things I've ever seen lol.

Yeah Steve Irwin was great. Billy shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence.

I liked him to, not for the show but his conservation things, A lot of his encounters with animals were staged sadly and from that show he`s spawned people like Billy

I posted a similar thread a couple months ago. This Guy is the ultimate DB. It is really stupid when he is supposed to be an expert and can't even tell his butt from a hole in the ground. He is probably the "expert" that politicians are using to predict how Florida and all the other states are going to be overrun by burms someday. I feel like starting a change.org petition to get this Guy off the air...

Yeah he is super over dramatic on just about everything.

Lol I also posted about that same episode cause anyone who has half a sense knew that was a ball python, he even went on to say that it was dangerous and used friggin a snake hook to pick up a 2 foot snake what a moron. But I would like to say that's not even the most rediculous thing I saw. He had one episode where he caught a corn snake and thought it was a copperhead lol. I know the coloration was the same but c'mon for a self-proclaimed expert just seeing it on the ground not moving u should be able to tell its not a copperhead. I've never even seen a copperhead in real life and I knew what it was. This guy is a disgrace and failure at life.

Steve Irwin was an educator who taught his viewers about the animals he handled. Yes, many of those "catches" were staged, but the handling was real.

Billy is just a freakin' idiot who is literally doing more harm than good.

Billy is 99% staged. I've seen him pickup the tamest looking snake and him act like it was a wild 20 foot anaconda.

Plus - he's a drug addict. Man did he fall into it with this show. If that guy isn't on the ice pipe i would be blown away. You see how bad he looks this year?

You guys realize this show is on A&E and not Animal Planet right? I suppose I understand people thinking all stupid animals shows are on AP but it's just not true. I've seen bad shows on NatGeo and PBS too.

I think it was informative and more then anything impressive. The guy could handle snakes with the best of them. Now if that was billy he would have had venom in his system a few seconds into the video.

You know - looking at this video earlier today - it blows me away that it was a stingray which took his life. What terrible irony. I miss him.

hes makin his $$ tho lol besides they wanted to make shows that would get high ratings no 1 wants to get educated from a clown on tv about snakes

I have noticed that ALOT of these so called Reality TV programs are clearly scripted and have HORRIBLE actors playing the roles. Most of the ones i see are obviously B.S. and made for drama and excitment. It turns me off to TV in general, thats why i prefer to do other things and have hobbys. Hahaha. Lizard Lick Towing, Billy The Exterminator, Jersey Shore, South Beach Towing show, and even some of the Storage Hunter programs i have seen are scripted. Maybe if they had people that could act it would be a LITTLE bit better, but when i see a 6'4'' 270 lb man getting beat up by a midget wearing a skirt, i know its obviously not real!

X2 .....the towing stuff is so fake it's unwatchable.

After reading this I had to look it up on Netflicks. Honestly I was crying I was laughing so hard. First the poor Burmese "snaps" at him and he knocks things over and yells at the other guy to get out of the shed. The camera flashes a shot of the snake just sitting there. Then he has it wrapped around his arm and saying every time he breaths it wraps tighter. Not sure when he started breathing out of his arm.... oh and the spikes that are apparently "for protection". :rolleyes:

The ball python one was the best though. The lady had two free roaming rabbits and "magically" pulled out a fully set up cage for a mouse he pulled out of the couch. I'm not sure how anyone could take that joke seriously.
