A VERY sad day for me....
:(:(:(:(:(
Because of personal issues (which I'd rather not share, I'd feel even worse) I'm being forced to sell my BP:tears:
One thing's for sure, and that's I'll have more BPs in the future, and I'll start saving money since now, so once I come back, I'll come back strong...
I'm on the verge of crying here :(
Don't worry, I'll still come from time to time! I'm pretty sure I'll miss the girls thread <3
Anyways... THANKS A LOT TO ALL OF YOU AND ALL OF YOUR HELP... I'm really grateful of everything! :gj:

That is unfortunate, and I hope your personal issues are resolved, but I was expecting much worse, you had a fire, all your snakes died, they all got out etc. Best of luck in the future.

yes, I know I'm over-reacting, but I've been depressed for the last couple of months (I made a thread about it, lots of serious family sicknesses, a few family and friends' deaths, relationship stuff, amongst many other things). And when you're depressed, usually things affect you way worse. :/

I by no means meant to trivialize your loss, trying to console by saying it could be worse I guess.

haha no worries... I always tend to think: "Well, this could have been worse"

Really sorry to hear that :( I know when you're depressed about something, even the smallest things seem like the end of the world (Put too much sugar in your tea, or none at all, and you end up on the floor crying!)
Is there no way they could go to someone who could care for them for you until you're able to have them back? Just a thought :)
Hope you're alright dude

Hope you feel better.
I had to get rid of a lot of snakes that I loved recently. Just save up your money, start exercising, get another hobby to keep you busy until you can have snakes again. :)

Try finding someone on here willing to take care of your snake until you have time/money for it again. Id be willing to, PM me if you'd like to talk about it. If not thats fine, i wish you luck to get through everything!

I feel your pain. Sadly, I must let go of two of my snakes.

Thanks guys...
The problems with giving it to someone are:
1- the only person locally I know I can FULLY trust is out of the country doing researches
2- I live in PR, and shipping animals out/in of the country is a pain in the ...
3- It would have to be long term, since I'm planning on finishing my EE BS in MIT next year.
At least the buyer seems knowledgeable about BPs (he has a few morphs, and as soon as I put up the ad, he called me saying he has been looking quite a while for a pin (kinda hard to come by here). I'll talk to him about any possibilities of me buying it back in the future.
Volvagia, you'll be deeply missed :(

Oh no! :( I am --SO-- sorry to hear this. I've thought a few times about what will happen when I move to an apartment, since so few of them here allow pets at all, let alone snakes. The thought of rehoming them makes me sick to my tummy, and more depressed than I could begin to explain. :( I don't know if I'll ever be able to rehome them if the time comes.
:tears: I know the part of your pain when it comes to that. It's a terrible feeling.
One thing that might help...Recently I had to rehome my beloved kitty. She was not good for an apartment; as Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys says, "These are free range kitties!" And free range she was; 95% outdoor cat, 5% indoor cat. So, we had to rehome her as she was unhappy, peeing on everything, etc. We found a perfect home for her. The lady loves Marbles more than anything else in life and I feel Marbles loves her the same way. She now lives in a big horse barn with an open door on the side, so she can come and go as she pleases. She gets to chase off birds from the roof of the barn, gets lots of snacks that we couldn't afford, so many things! It turned out perfectly. We also requested photo updates from time to time and these make us all smile. :)
Perhaps if you rehome your ball python you could request pictures also. This might make it worse, but it could make it better. Consider it and determine if it would be right.
I'm so sorry for all that is going on, and yes, things could be worse, but sometimes that doesn't mean they still don't suck a whole lot. :( Again, I'm sorry, and I'm here if you need a friend. <3

 and there she goes!
The guy saw the sadness in my face and he said: "hey, don't worry, I'll take really good care of her"
Apparently he's had BPs for a couple of years, and after a while talking with him, he seemed fit to take care of my baby

Reminds me of when I had to rehome a mouse I bought as snake food, fell in love with, then found out she was pregnant...The lady took one look at my face and said, "Don't cry! She'll be happy with me, I promise." ,made me feel so much better that they knew how I was feeling. If they can read my emotions and respond to them the pet is in good hands, I think, :gj:
