Pictures are the best way to judge if something is going on with genetics.

That's definitely a beautiful normal you have, though because of the lighting I'd be hesitant to say you have a known morph there. Super good looking though, if you ever plan on breeding I'd definitely use that one in the projects to see if the good looks pass on.

Normals have a lot of variation within them, that's definitely one of the best looking normals I've seen though!

I would agree with Alexandra. Very good looking animal. If you get the chance, take some outdoor shots on an overcast day. It presents the best lighting for accurate color.

    Hi,

For this to work we need pics with good lighting and a known colour source - stick a can of coke and a dollar bill next to it.

Also has this snake shed for you? Was there anything unusual about the shed compared to your other snakes?

Very pretty snake, I'd definately be keeping it to see if I could prove it out if it were mine. There are a number of things that can cause a snake to appear axanthic, some are genetic and some are not, until it can be proven one way or the other, it should be considered to be wild type.

    Hi,

If she shed that recently go look at the shed and tell us if it has a pattern on it.

The first shots I couldn't really tell but those last ones...wow! She's a greaaaaaaat looking animal, normal or not! I'd definitely hang onto her and see if she proves out as anything if you have plans to breed her. Regardless, she's a beautiful snake, normal or not; thanks for sharing. :gj:

She's a beauty...i love "unusual" normals...Maybe she's hiding a secret in her genes. Good Luck with her.

I really like her coloring regardless of whether it's genetic of not! Keep us updated on whether any of her offspring look unusual.
