how can you tell if a spider is high/low quality?

I have a spider that I think looks great but I would only want to breed him some day if he would make good babies.

so, how can you tell?

Spiders are pretty subjective. I prefer a clean pattern and low white, but some like high white.

IMO what makes a great spider is no spots, extremely reduced pattern, high white sides, very gold color, an most important a sexy mustache.

If you think your spider looks great then that's all what matters.

Personally I like reduced pattern high white spiders. Less spots and bright color the better.

Different types of spiders compliments different types of morphs. For example, high white spider will make great bumble bees in my opionion. Since pastels brown out, browned out high white bees still look great. Low white spiders probably make great albino spiders as they're almost all yellow.

In the end it's what you like and want to make.

I think that spider ticks every box anyone could come up with regarding spiders. High white, nice reduced pattern, tash, some nice striping, nice gold dorsal. As a typical spider its 10/10 imo

a good spider wont have a head wobble will have high white sides no spots and just a overall clean snake

Looks great to me. Simple but interesting pattern, perfect amount of white, and nice golden color.

Good looking guy (and gals).

I highly recommend housing them all separately. You had mentioned keeping the females together in the video.

I did but that won't be for long n_n
right now they seem to be doing just fine though
I'd even go so far as to say that they're like best friends XD
they follow each other around and curl up in their hides together

Your spider is very good looking. I like gold along the back and low whites. Their wobble can develope anytime so picking one without a wobble as a baby doesnt really matter. I would focus on their pattern/ colors more when picking them.

There are several factors to look at when looking for what YOU find best looking for a spider. Coloration, dorsal pattern, head pattern, and the amount of white creeping up the sides from the belly.

Spiders are brown no matter what. Sometimes they can be suuuper dark, and sometimes they're so light, they're almost golden! I love golden spiders :D! The darker spiders are freakn sweet too! I haven't noticed a trend of what people prefer. Few people really speak of the coloration.

I like spiders with a single dorsal stripe from neck to tail, with those thin lines evenly spread out! Sometimes spiders have 2 stripes going down their back with the lines on their sides. Those are cool too. Super reduces spiders will have very few lines going down their sides. Most people prefer little to zero dots on the spider because spiders are reduced, and reduced means little to zero dots :gj:. I personally see the single stripe with even amount of side stripes is what the spider is all about!

The head pattern can also vary on a spider but typically they have a V shape. I've seen skulls, butterflies, and other cool shapes :D. Sometimes they even have a fancy curled mustache which is always cute LOL!

Finally, the amount of white sides can either creep up really high or hardly any at all. I used to love low whites, but now I prefer a medium one. The high whites certainly look unique and I wouldn't mind going for that! I like unique looking morphs :gj:. From what I've read in threads regarding spiders, a lot of people prefer high white.

I think he is a very nice looking spider.

This is my girl, I normally dont like darker snakes but I love how it contrasts with the high white. Personally, I prefer my spiders without any spots and high white so Im happy with my girl.

Spider's are one of the many morphs where quality is hard to label. Some people like what some would call low quality. It's not like Pastel's where a good example would be one that retains it's brightness as it ages. I have 2 very different looking Spiders I can see why some would choose one over the other.
