    Feeling OLD
My baby girl turned 10 today and I am feeling old. :tears::tears: I am glad she is growing up, but I did not think the time would fly by this quick. I guess you can say I am a little depressed and I would like to hit the rewind button.....

The older you get, the faster it goes, huh? Remember how long a year used to be? It took forever for your birthday to roll around and when it did you felt like you accomplished something. Now it just feels like one year closer to death. :(

Appreciate it while you can because before you know it you will be "snakegrandma77" and your grandchild will be turning 10 today. :O

Happy Birthday to your daughter

Speaking as the father of 12 year old twins, I know how you feel.

I am 35 years young. The only thing that reminds me I am old is my creaky knees. The years do seem to go by faster though. Work will do that to you.

Being a parent is definitely bittersweet. I absolutely loved being home with my boys when they were young - at that time it seemed like they would always be my babies.

Fast forward to today - my oldest is 28 and my baby is 21 - sometimes it actually depresses me when I realize that my job is done and they are on their own. They don't really need me any more - unless of course they need money lol. :):)

Don't have children of my own, but my niece turns 16 this fall - given how both her parents drive, everyone stay off the roads! :bolt:

Time just goes so fast... seems like last year was a month ago and nothing to show for it. Crazy times we are in... crazy times...

Each stage of their life is great, and I wouldn't trade any of them. It's nice when they are old enough to read, and help you in the kitchen, or with the animals, more independent things like that. But it is sad watching them grow up so fast. :tears: I know how you feel. I am gonna be one sad momma when she doesn't need me anymore.

Time does fly! Definatly nota parent (hopefully not for another 5ish years) but my nephew will be turning 5 in may :( though it only brings him closer to owning his own BP (well, having one of mine to name, and call his own, and help with charting and such.) His momma dont like scaly things 2/3 of her kids ( and one is a month old today) love snakes. I'm doing my job right :D

I can't imagine how my parents feel, since my last days of being legally a minor are quickly drawing to an end. And the youngest here turned 16 less than a month ago.
