Friday Road Trip

Just thought i would share this since i am excited about it, especially since we have not been out on anything reptile related since mid 2005, and the last place the misses wants to go to off the bat is the hamburg show, so we just worked out the details to visit the breeder of the ball pythons i currently have (see my Sig), and to also pick up the 3 new additions as well, (see sig once again). gonna be heading up this friday afternoon with the misses, kids will be at the babysitter. hope this goes well since i got free reign at his place to check all the different things he got and is working on, hopefully it will be a show and touch. I hope to take a lot of cool picks while we are there and will share them to you all. this should be sooooo much fun. :banana::banana::banana:

well talking to him late last night, and looking over his available list (over 150 different combinations of multiple animals of each of just ball pythons alone), that alone will be impressive, but he did say he has some things that are on his top secret projects that i get to check out as well. and many other animals to boot.

Sounds like an awesome opportunity! Can you name the breeder or do you need to keep that close hold?

i do not mind naming him (i do not think he would mind), Fred Kick, is is about a 2.5 hour drive for us, so it is not to bad considering Hamburg PA is 3+ hours from our place.

I don't want to ignite a brew-ha-ha, but Mr. Kick has a bit of a checkered reputation. I would like to say he has as many supporters as detractors, but that would be a lie.

OK just wanted to add this:

My dealings thus far have been very good with Fred, yes i have read the reviews, and the newspaper reports, etc. however i do not wish for this to turn into a trash and bash thread over this. when i return, i will share honestly how things went. maybe have some picks or a vid to share. what you decide to do with the information is on you. I just thought it would be cool to share with you all.

well sorry to say that due to some unexpected issues we where not able to make the visit this weekend as originally planned, we will reschedule in the near future though.
