May 2012 Raliegh Show

Anyone plan on attending the show comin up next month? Didnt go to either show last year and was only told that the turn out was pretty lackluster as far as vendors go?

May 5 and 6th. Vypyrz know anyone that will have SD Retics?

I'm going for some ball pythons and possibly a pair of crested geckos :)

I just checked the State Fairground website to see what else is going on there, that weekend. Here is the list:

1) Exotic Animal and Reptile Show

I'm not sure. I just checked their website and it looks like the vendor list is still from the September 2011 show. I just sent them an e-mail requesting an updated list. I'll post whenever I find anything out...

I just checked Gila Productions website and they finally updated it. Ben Siegal is not on there yet. You may try calling them, or contacting them through their FB page...

Went for about an hour and hate to say it but it was a waste. Didnt really see any good deals on balls that i was lookin for and couldnt find anyone with SSTPs out. Only thing I did get was a dubia roach starter colony for 40bucks.

I went in there today with 300$ and came out with three ball pythons, two leopard geckos, and a blue tongue skink, so it was pretty fun for me. This was my third herp show and the biggest I've been to yet, but I doubt it will be able to compete with the Columbia Repticon that I'm going to for my birthday :)

I'm planning on going to the Myrtle Beach show in August.

The show SUCKED!!! Since Alex and Brett took over, each show in Raleigh gets worse and worse. I bet anything this will be the last show they will ever be able to hold. I wish someone would come in and do another Raleigh show, we use to have a great show in Raleigh before Alex and Brett destroyed the show! I was there 45 minutes and left disgusted. Their website still claims they are resceduling the Tampa show (which flopped when they took over) and resecduling the New Orleans show which they had to cancel last year at the last minute when they found no vendors would be attending.
