one eye is cloudier than the other
i got my ball python around march 16 and lately ive noticed one of his eyes are cloudier than the other and the other eye looks like its turning from the outside in, his skin is saggier and he does look darker but i was wondering if he could possibly be shedding

We call the "silvery" blue. It's when there is fluid between the layers that cause them to look "blue" or cloudy. The eyes being the most noticeable. You probably will also notice that pre shed you snake has been doing lots of hiding?

Hi,
Can you get any closer pics of the eye?
Also what kind of hides do you have?
One of my girls scuffed her eyecaps when I used an unglazed terracotta hide - it went away with the next shed so I replaced the hide.

You can see a bit of the hide in the lower left.
Is there any white ring around the eye or, if you look at it side on, is the eyecap shiny but the eye still blue? Is the blue colour uniform over the whole eye or is it thicker in the middle and fading towards the edges?

Hmm,
It sounds as though she might actually have retained the eyecaps during her last shed.
I would bump the humidity up to 60-70% ( or give her a humid hide ) - just make sure the substrate isn't sitting wet.
Hopefully if she's going into shed that should let her get both sets of eyecaps off ok and be back to full fighting form.
And it wasn't the fact the hide was made of terracotta - it was the fact it was slightly rough on the inside and she was rubbing against it when coiling in. :)
